The Quality & Accreditation Coordinator is a key position in the organization that will coordinate the facilitation of quality assurance processes for out-of-school time programs across the state. This position has an important role in advancing high-quality programs through increasing access to resources and support and effectively expanding services.

The ideal candidate for this role is an efficient and effective professional looking to gain deeper understanding of systems level work, connect with and support out-of-school time professionals, and get to know the broader out-of-school time community across Arizona.

The Quality & Accreditation Coordinator is supervised by and works in collaboration with the Executive Director and Quality Program Manager. The position may supervise interns and/or contractors, and will collaborate with all staff, constituents, board members, volunteers, donors, funders and partner organizations.

Responsibilities

Specific responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:

Implementation

Follows procedures to administer quality assurance programs.
Updates and maintains records in learning management system.
Creates calendar of key program dates.
Processes application materials and financial invoices.
Tracks and documents information on participating programs and contractors.
Tracks program goals and budget.
Collaborates with staff to identify opportunities for alignment with other initiatives.
Develops and maintains efficient systems for organizing and administering work.

Communication

Develops external communication plans to inform and invite new programs to participate in quality assurance opportunities.
Creates and informs content and collateral to advance the promotion and expansion of quality assurance services including communications messaging, website content, newsletter content, infographics and flyers.
Delivers in person and online presentations and leads meetings for programs and contractors.
Provides technical assistance for programs and contractors.
Facilitates crucial and nuanced conversations about program quality with programs and contractors.
Responds to questions and provides support in a helpful and professional manner.

Supervision

Supervises contractors to ensure that their work integrates with the organization’s systems, processes, and goals.
Maintains a strengths-based and equity-centered approach to management - supporting professional growth and advancement that draws out the talents of the team and fosters a culture of belonging.
Ensures accountability and responsibility by setting clear goals and expectations, providing timely and helpful feedback, and conducting annual performance reviews.
Creates and fosters a team-oriented organizational culture that supports the implementation of AZCASE’s strategic direction.

Organizational Leadership

Aligns AzCASE’s training and resource services to the organization’s strategic direction and identifies new programmatic opportunities and collaborations to enhance AzCASE’s impact.
Maintains a working knowledge of significant developments in the field and program quality areas.
Contributes to funding proposals and reports, informs fund development strategy, represents AzCASE at funding meetings, and participates in fundraising activities.
Cultivates relationships with constituents and partners, and serves on committees and advisories as needed.
Participates in organizational retreats, staff development, and culture-building activities.
Provides general office support as needed including back-up on phones, mailing, copying, filing, and other office duties.

Qualifications

Experience

Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience with progressively increasing responsibilities.
Demonstrated experience in administering programs, leading teams, and understanding quality in out-of-school time programs.
Experience in the nonprofit sector and in the out-of-school time field desired.
Education and/or professional development in areas relevant to the position. Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
Conversational Spanish a plus.

Proficiency or comfort with:
Microsoft Office Suite including Sharepoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook programs.
Google Suite, Dropbox and/or other similar programs.
Back-end applications for managing website content and data including Salesforce or an equivalent.
Ability and willingness to do extensive computer work, some lifting (up to 20lbs), and to work occasional evening and weekend hours, including overnight travel.
