Position Purpose

The Undergraduate Education Coordinator is responsible for supporting the administration and success of the Undergraduate Network for Academic Public Health at ASPPH. Under the direction of the Senior Director of Educational Pathways and Undergraduate Education, the Coordinator will support the programming, communications, and membership functions related to the Undergraduate Network. Additionally, the Coordinator will support work across the Pathways department as a frontline responder to inquiries and tickets. This position works across departments to ensure seamless, exceptional service to Network members.

Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks

Programming

Leading the development and implementation of the grant RFP process, selection of awardees, and administration of the award
Schedule and run monthly domain calls, supporting and managing activities driven by the engagement groups
Support the coordination and session planning for annual conferences
Manage submission approval for online job database and event postings
Provide general administrative support to ensure the success of the Network

Communications

Curate monthly newsletter for Undergraduate Network
Support development of content for the web, digital assets, and communities
Manage service console tickets related to Undergraduate Network and Student Pathways

Membership

Ensure up-to-date contact information and Network engagement tracking
Support membership recruitment, on-boarding, and retention efforts

Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree or four years of relevant work experience (preferred)
Experience: 1-3 years of experience

Skills Needed

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail
Flexibility and creativity
Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time
Proficient Microsoft Office
Experience with Salesforce and WordPress a plus

Additional Information

Work Locale: ASPPH is based in Washington, DC and maintains a hybrid work environment and is especially interested in candidates from the DC Metropolitan area. Due to hiring restrictions, preference will be given to applicants who reside in the following states for full-time remote work: CO, FL, GA, KY, MA, MD, NC, TX, VA, WA, WV.
Authority to Work in the US: The individual must be legally eligible to work in the US.
Travel Requirements: The position may involve occasional travel.
Compensation: ASPPH determines salary compensation level based on industry salary surveys and the individual’s experience. ASPPH also takes into consideration the internal pay equity of our existing team members. The salary range for this position is $50,000 - $60,000. We typically do not hire at the maximum level to allow for salary growth. ASPPH offers a generous benefits package, detailed below.
