We are now seeking to expand our team and are looking for a social media superstar to join our team as our Social Media & Marketing Manager.

You will plan, administer and manage a wide variety of relevant content for StellaPop’s in-house and client-based social media marketing. This role will drive the execution of both client and StellaPop’s social media campaigns, in support of StellaPop and its client engagement objectives. You will also be acting as a Project Manager for our creative accounts.

Job Duties:

• Plan and oversee StellaPop and client-based social media outreach; determine strategy; integrate social calendar with organization-wide editorial calendar, write and post all content.

• Develop, implement, maintain and schedule while creating, writing, editing and producing the StellaPop email newsletter and other digital outreach. This will require collaboration with all internal team members.

• Curate a wide variety of content relevant to StellaPop and our client base and produce actionable plans for sharing that content in collaboration with other team members and clients.

• Develop and oversee content-rich social media campaigns for StellaPop and client base.

• Collaborate on professional-development related social media; post articles and related collateral (photos, videos, etc.) during client and StellaPop external networking events.

• Curate StellaPop’s content-heavy social media presence to support the organizations content strategy and client engagement goals.

• Track, analyze, develop and measure data to spot trends, content needs, audiences and growth areas. Propose actionable ideas to better serve key audiences.

• Serve as project manager and key strategist for digital initiatives. Serve as point of contact for vendors such as videographers, printers and designers. Manage permissions, set schedules and collaborate with subject matter experts as needed.

• Produce or collaborate on simple graphics for use in social media, email blasts, newsletter and website as needed.

• Monitor new content development needs as suggested by client base and pressing issues; propose coverage and work with teammates to produce. Ensure consistency of tone and editorial style.

• Develop facility with CMS, e-mail marketing systems and related tools. This will include posting content, pulling lists, updating records and more.

• Proficient in operating StellaPop’s Hubspot platform.

• Assume other responsibilities, as assigned.

You will work with our team in our Reston, VA Corporate Office.

Qualifications include:

• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent level of marketing and communications experience.

• Minimum of 4 years of relevant and like experience in a similar work environment. This will include experience utilizing content management (CMS) or e-mail marketing systems and performing similar tasks related to this role.

• Must be highly proficient in using social media platform interfaces such as: HootSuite, TribeBoost, and Hubspot, as well as Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe. Must be able to adapt and learn new software and web-based systems.

• Demonstrated experience compiling, analyzing and presenting social media analytics.

• Excellent writing and editing skills, as well strong written, oral and interpersonal communication skills.

• Excellent organizational and time-management skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks/activities simultaneously while maintaining quality.

• Ability to work efficiently, independently, and as part of a team; to communicate regularly and meet deadlines in a fast-paced and creative environment.
