Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Communications Specialist located in Nashville, TN. The Communications Specialist will be responsible for writing features stories, news releases, social media and newsletter content, and supporting strategic communications for the School of Nursing.

Qualifications

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience drafting press releases
Experience with creating and managing social media content
Strong writing skills with the ability to adapt tone and style for different audiences and platforms
Experience with internal communications and employee engagement
Knowledge of AP Style
Experience in a health care or academic setting is a plus
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field
