The Raleigh Firebirds are looking for someone to assist with writing Firebird Focus, our newsletter with 5,000+ subscribers.
Note: This role is unpaid. High school and college students in the Triangle area are highly encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities:
-Help publish three issues of the newsletter per week
-Day-to-day maintenance to keep the newsletter running smoothly
-Create campaign strategies to acquire new readers and keep existing ones
-Interview players, coaches, and staff members for content creation
Qualifications:
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-Experience with writing and content creation
-Adaptable and able to work non-traditional hours
-High school or college student
