Job Summary:

The LACC Marketing and Content Manager will be a key member of the LACC marketing team, supporting content creation, social media, marketing, and creative services aimed to drive community growth and engagement, marketing and branding strategies, social media presence, and stakeholder cultivation in the automotive and not-for-profit industries. The Marketing and Content Manager will work closely with our CEO and Marketing Team to develop and implement organizational communications strategy and guide creative direction to meet marketing objectives.


Direct Responsibilities:

  • On-Screen Representation: Act as a confident and engaging on-screen talent for brand videos, creating authentic, compelling stories that align with the brand voice and resonate with our audience. Capture and edit real-world videos showcasing automotive projects and training. 
  • Event & Campaign Coverage: Lead content production during key shoots and events, managing end-to-end content creation, including capturing content live and editing it for fast turnaround. Manage event logistics and coordination, brand campaigns, and promotion, including SEMA and Ventura Nationals annual events. 
  • Project Management: Exceptional ability to manage multiple content creation projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with broader marketing objectives, including developing and distributing pertinent reports that support marketing programs and management, and developing and managing vehicle campaigns or event budgets, calendars, and teams.
  • Craft and maintain a strong, recognizable brand voice that car enthusiasts and supporters connect with.
  • Stay on top of viral trends, memes, and industry moments and identify creative ways to implement new strategies.
  • Plan, launch, and optimize marketing campaigns across Instagram, TikTok, Google, and YouTube, and manage platforms and engagement, including website updates, newsletter management, and content planning and brainstorming. 
  • Write SEO-optimized content that drives real traffic and boosts brand authority and high-converting copy for social posts, ads, blogs, landing pages, and email campaigns.
  • Build relationships with automotive brands and companies to bolster LACC’s brand.
  • Launch creative growth hacks to drive brand awareness and product sales.
  • Work in partnership with the Creative Director to develop creative briefs and guide creative direction to meet marketing objectives.
  • Leverage AI tools to brainstorm faster, plan smarter, and scale content creation.
  • Track campaign performance, experiment boldly, and double down on what drives real results.
  • All other duties, as assigned. 


Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: 

  • 3-7 years of professional experience with marketing, social media management, content strategy, marketing campaigns, and/or event coordination.
  • Passion for automotive culture is a big plus.
  • A genuine obsession with internet culture, trends, memes — and a sharp sense of how to make brands relevant.
  • Strong copywriting skills.
  • Proven SEO experience with content that ranks and performs.
  • Experience using AI tools to ideate, create, and optimize content.
  • Startup mindset, thrives in fast-paced environments.
  • Proficient in Adobe Suite including Premiere Pro or equivalent editing software
  • Preferred: Proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, Wix, Mailchimp, Active Campaign, Google Sheets/Microsoft Excel, and ChatGPT or similar systems.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a polished, professional demeanor.
  • Ability to anticipate needs, think critically, and offer proactive solutions.
  • A collaborative and adaptable mindset, with the ability to work independently.


**Current company policy includes an employer contribution of 100% of the annual premium for Kaiser Permanente Gold tier medical coverage for the full-time employee. The Company does not currently contribute to employee retirement plans.
