Minute Media has offices in New York, London, Tel-Aviv, São Paulo and Asia.

We’re seeking a Director of Growth Marketing to lead the execution of audience growth, retention, and monetization initiatives across subscriptions, newsletters, and our first-party data ecosystem.

Reporting to the VP, Conversions, this person will own the roadmap, execution, and performance of key programs that expand our user base and increase lifetime value, while collaborating on high-level strategy and contributing insights that help shape the company’s growth vision.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can manage day-to-day growth efforts while scaling systems, processes, and team capabilities for long-term impact.

What You'll Do

  • Lead day-to-day execution of growth initiatives across first-party data, subscription newsletters, push notifications, and other owned channels, driving measurable acquisition, retention, and monetization
  • Leverage our Customer Data Platform (BlueConic) to activate segmented audiences, personalize user journeys, and identify new opportunities to drive acquisition, grow first-party data, and increase user LTV
  • Build and scale lifecycle campaigns to drive engagement, reduce churn, and maximize LTV
  • Optimize funnels through A/B testing across landing pages, signup flows, onboarding, email engagement, push notifications, and user journeys to increase conversion and retention
  • Partner with product, engineering, and BI teams to develop infrastructure across authentication, subscription flows, and first-party data capture
  • Develop and execute performance marketing strategies across paid channels to efficiently acquire high-quality users and support broader audience growth and revenue goals
  • Track and analyze performance metrics to guide experimentation and optimize execution across acquisition and retention efforts
  • Collaborate with editorial, content, and distribution teams to align messaging and optimize touchpoints across the customer journey
  • Grow and manage a growth marketing team focused on channel and revenue growth

The expected salary range for this position is between $105,000 and $135,000. Actual pay will be determined based on skills, experience, and location. The benefits available for this position include flexible vacation policy, 15 paid holidays, paid parental leave, health insurance, 401(k) with company match.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in revenue focused growth marketing capacity, ideally within digital media, publishing, or subscription-based businesses
  • Proven success building and scaling subscription, newsletter, push notification, and first-party data channels from the ground up
  • Strong understanding of how to grow and maximize customer lifetime value (LTV) through segmentation, personalization, lifecycle marketing, and cross-channel engagement
  • Hands-on experience with customer data platforms (CDPs), ideally Blueconic, including audience segmentation, personalization, and campaign activation
  • Proficiency with email service providers (such as Sailthru), and familiarity with subscription management platforms (such as Recurly)
  • Experience scaling performance marketing channels, including paid social and search, to efficiently drive user acquisition and increase customer lifetime value
  • Strategic and analytical thinker with a strong ability to partner with BI teams to translate data into actionable insights that inform growth strategy and optimize performance across the funnel
  • Independent self-starter with a proven ability to lead day-to-day execution while collaborating cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong team-oriented mindset with experience in building, managing, and scaling a high-performing growth marketing team as the function expands
