As Sr. Quality Assurance Tester I, you’ll be focused on executing functional and regression testing, documenting results, and ensuring traceability and compliance with DoD standards. The ideal candidate will bring deep testing experience with Oracle EBS, Exadata, and cloud platforms such as OCI, and a commitment to delivering high-quality, mission-critical software.

What you’ll do:
- Execute functional, regression, and performance testing to validate system changes and ensure compliance with requirements.
- Prepare test data, write test cases and scripts, and document results in accordance with program standards.
- Isolate, reproduce, and track defects; verify fixes and ensure traceability to requirements.
- Support validation testing activities including SIT and GAT, and coordinate with developers, engineers, and product owners.
- Perform change impact analysis and regression testing for all system updates, especially in Oracle EBS and Exadata environments.
- Ensure testing is conducted independently from development teams and results are documented for IV&V review.
What you’ll need to succeed:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in software testing, quality assurance, or functional validation.
- Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), Agile/SAFe methodologies, and test-driven development.
- Hands-on experience testing Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) applications, including workflows and RICECPW components.
- Familiarity with Oracle Exadata environments and performance validation in high-throughput systems.
- Experience testing in cloud-based environments, including Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) or similar platforms.
- Proficiency in writing and executing test cases, test scripts, and test plans for enterprise systems.
- Experience with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., HP ALM, Jira, TestRail).
- Active DoD Secret Clearance.
- Leadership experience managing teams and driving technical outcomes.
SALARY RANGE: $95,000 - $151,000
The salary range for this position is determined based on qualifications, skills, and relevant experience. The final salary offered will be determined based on several factors including:
- The candidate's professional background and relevant work experience
- The specific responsibilities of the role and organizational needs
- Internal equity and alignment with current team compensation
- This role is also eligible for additional compensation, subject to the terms and policies of MetroStar, which may include:
- Performance-based bonuses
- Company-paid training and/or certifications
- Referral bonuses
