This long term, hybrid contract (3 days onsite) has no current end date. The pay is $40-$47/hr.
Position Summary
We’re seeking a Global B2B Social Media Content Strategist to join our Global Fortune 500 Tech Client’s Social Media Center of Excellence (COE). In this long-term 40hr/week contractor role, you will serve as the dedicated liaison between their Global Social Media Team, B2B Business Units, and Corporate Communications Teams. This role will write creative briefs, align with teams on content integration into Corporate social media handles, and maximize impact across social platforms.
This position requires someone who understands the nuances of B2B marketing and thrives in a fast-paced, cross-functional, and collaborative environment.
We're looking for a creative thinker with a strong point of view on how B2B topics can stand out on social - through engaging, unconventional storytelling that breaks the mold of traditional corporate content. Someone who’s passionate about making complex technology feel human, relatable, and real by experimenting with fresh formats, collaborating with creators, and crafting platform-native narratives that resonate across all audiences and platforms.
What’s the job?
Content Alignment Lead regular alignment calls with B2B marketing teams to surface priorities and map key messaging for “@” the client.
Align with Corporate Communications Team to prioritize and integrate company-wide awards, company culture content, and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) initiatives into “@” social media handles.
Publishing & Strategy Support Provide feedback on content that B2B teams want published to “@” to ensure the content meets the Global Social Media COE’s content and platform standards.
Maintain social platform best practices and documentation on “@”’s SharePoint Page.
Collaborate with Communication Leads across Lenovo to project manage LinkedIn thought leader ads program.
Serve as a backup publisher for our corporate “@” social media handles when the publisher is out of office.
Content Creation & Execution Write creative briefs to fill content gaps supporting top of funnel B2B topics and themes. You’ll have access to an in-house content creator, an in-house animator, a B2B influencer, and a TikTok agency to create content using your briefs.
Project-manage monthly LinkedIn newsletter in collaboration with Corporate Communications and Corporate Brand.
Facilitate geo-specific content approvals and coordinate across regions for timely publishing.
Qualifications
Professional social media or digital marketing role, ideally B2B-focused
Strong familiarity writing upper funnel B2B social media content briefs
Proficiency with social media management tools (e.g., Sprinklr, Hootsuite)
Excellent organizational, writing, and interpersonal communication skills
Experience managing or working alongside creators or influencers in a B2B context
Background with a social media creative/marketing agency or a large-enterprise technology company (agency background preferred)
This is a W2 position.
