Position Summary

Marketing Associate is responsible for implementing the annual marketing plan and supporting the affiliate's efforts in messaging, promoting, and educating. This role particularly focuses on ensuring accurate brand management, design and distribution of electronic and print collateral, website and social media management, e-newsletters, and fundraising campaigns for Habitat for Humanity of Montgomery and Delaware Counties.


Marketing Responsibilities

  • Collaborates closely with the Senior Development Operations Manager and Director of Development to ensure marketing strategies are aligned with fundraising goals and effectively support donor engagement efforts that drive revenue growth.
  • Develop, schedule, and manage content across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube to grow engagement and reach, while actively responding to comments and messages to maintain a strong, positive brand presence online.
  • Track and report monthly marketing KPIs including ad performance (CTR, CPC, impressions), website traffic, social media growth, and engagement.
  • Maintain Google Ads Grant account, ensuring ongoing compliance and maximizing ad performance.
  • Oversee SEO efforts, including optimizing website content, managing the organization's Google Business listing, and responding to reviews to maintain a strong and positive online brand presence.
  • Manage and design monthly e-newsletter and social media calendar.
  • Design collateral for digital and print communications.
  • Execute multi-channel marketing campaigns for Habitat MontDelco Affiliate and ReStores.
  • Ensure brand guidelines are followed in all messaging, advertising, and marketing collateral.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support website management by keeping content up to date, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining site security.
  • Research current markets, social media trends, and activities of other affiliate’s to maximize Habitat MontDelco’s virtual and physical presences.


Administration Responsibilities

  • Work efficiently within established timelines and budgets to deliver on-target results.
  • Coordinate and place orders for staff business cards as needed.
  • Monitor expenses, budget, and ROI in concert with the Senior Development Operations Manager.
  • Ensure all design files, photos, and marketing collateral in all forms are organized and stored on the organization’s shared drive.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Senior Development Operations Manager.


Requirements

  • Please submit your resume along with 2-3 writing and design samples or include a link to your portfolio that highlights your experience in marketing, content creation, social media, or design.
  • Superior communication skills: oral, written, proofreading, editing, and presentation.
  • Ability to work both independently and as a member of a larger staff team.
  • Superior interpersonal skills with an ability to relate to broadly diverse audiences.
  • Superior organizational skills: ability to set priorities and work on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Self-starter, a strong sense of initiative, team player, creative problem solving, and flexibility.
  • Passion for equitable communities and the mission of Habitat for Humanity.
  • Computer Skills Required: Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, website CMS (e.g., WordPress, Wix, etc.) Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, social media, photography and video editing.
  • Comfort learning to use new technology is required.


Experience

  • Minimum of two years of experience in design, communications, marketing, database management, and/or project management tools required.
  • Experience with Google Ads, SEO, email marketing platforms, and/or digital ad reporting strongly preferred.
  • A track record of successfully meeting deadlines, goals, and developing relationships.
  • Experience working with volunteers preferred.


Education

  • College Degree Required


Other Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel locally as needed are required.
  • Employment contingent upon completion of successful background check and child abuse clearance.
