The Opportunity
As a Copywriter at Careington, you will be an essential member of our growing, in-house corporate communications team. This position works under the Director of Corporate Communications and reports to the Marketing Content Manager. The copywriter works with their brand success team on a variety of projects to support all companies and brands within that BST. In this role you will be challenged daily to create, innovate, collaborate, learn and grow.
This is a hybrid role that will be worked onsite 3x a week Tuesday-Thursday at our Corporate office located in Frisco, TX.
Role & Responsibilities
Write copy to support B2B and B2C communication efforts (solicitation, email, website, newsletter, direct mail, video)
Work closely with the print and digital design teams to create and implement the overall look and feel of marketing and communications materials
Develop unique, new concepts
Create copy templates for ongoing use in consumer communications
Establish strong relationships across departments and develop an understanding of client needs, the consumer experience, marketing strategy and operational capabilities.
Regular collaboration with subject matter experts to ensure needs are met.
Qualifications
Degree in journalism, communications, advertising or other applicable field of study
1-2 years of professional copywriting experience-preferred
Job-type: permanent, full-time, hybrid, 3x days in office, 2x days home.
Ability to utilize different tones of voice and tailor messaging to specific audiences, objectives and marketing pieces.
B2B writing experience desired.
Brand strategy and implementation support experience is a PLUS.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Experience using Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
Able to juggle multiple projects while meeting demanding deadlines, producing high-quality work and projecting an enthusiastic, passionate and positive attitude
