Position Overview
The Brand/Account Manager is a strategic partner, creative facilitator, and hands-on executor supporting the JSR team and its clients in delivering smart, impactful marketing initiatives. This role helps shape strategies across web development, social media, copywriting, digital campaigns, design, and analytics—ensuring that projects are not only delivered, but thrive. This person will be embedded in multiple accounts and must be able to juggle a high volume of work while maintaining accuracy, momentum, and empathy.
You must have prior agency experience—no exceptions. You must also bring professional experience working in or with organizations focused on sustainability, electricity, Community Choice Aggregators (CCAs), or investor-owned utilities. This is essential to understanding our clients’ needs, terminology, timelines, and industry context.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain an average of 85% billable time per month (approximately 442 hours per quarter)
- Advise and collaborate with clients and internal teams to develop strategic, creative, and data-informed marketing plans
- Support execution across a variety of deliverables, including social media, digital ads, web content, newsletters, research, and branded collateral
- Input content and manage SEO using Yoast on WordPress sites built in Elementor
- Help track and report on performance using Google Analytics, Tag Manager, and Google Ads
- Manage social media content and scheduling via Hootsuite and track performance trends
- Coordinate project workflows in Monday.com to ensure deadlines are met and communication is clear
- Conduct market research and present analysis reports to clients and internal teams
- Write briefs, guide creative sessions, and oversee implementation of updated strategies
- Monitor, evaluate, and refine marketing tactics based on KPIs and client goals
- Serve as a consistent point of contact between the client, internal staff, and contractors
- Support copy development for a wide range of communications (e.g., social, blogs, newsletters, site content)

Preferred Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in advertising, communication, journalism, business administration, marketing, or related fields
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in a marketing or communications role
- Agency experience is required—no exceptions
- Experience working in or with sustainability sectors, CCAs, electricity, or investor-owned utilities is required
- Experience developing strategic digital marketing plans
- Familiarity with website input, basic SEO, and content publishing using WordPress and Elementor
- Experience running or collaborating on social, newsletter, and paid digital campaigns
- Familiarity with analytics platforms such as Google Analytics, Tag Manager, and Ads

Benefits
- Nine paid holidays are scheduled by JSR.
- The amount of PTO received each year is based on your length of service and accrues according to an accrual schedule by hours worked up to a maximum annual grant as shown: First year of employment: 10 days annually. Second and third year of employment: 12 days annually. Third through fifth year of employment: 20 days annually. Over five years of employment: 25 days annually.
- Time off of up to 5 days (40 hours) per year is provided by JSR Strategies to be away from work because of illness, injury, or to care for a family member or for responding or attending to a qualifying exigency pursuant to the FMLA policy.
- QSEHRA benefits, which max out at federal limits (approx $6,350/single person approx. $12,800 for a family annually with monthly caps on reimbursements)
- After three months of employment with JSR, you are eligible for a 401 (k): 100% match up to 3% // 50% match for the next 2%, 100% vested immediately.
