We offer a variety of internships globally to students who want jobs with real responsibility, outstanding training, and the chance to learn from the best through 1:1 mentorship in a small team setting. As an intern, you will gain valuable work experience while developing your skills and establishing a track record to set you up for a potential full-time position after graduation.
During the course of your internship, you will take part in an exciting lineup of intern events and engage in meaningful projects that significantly impact the success of our businesses. At the end of your summer, you will have the opportunity to present your work to our leadership and network with our hiring managers.
As an intern, you’ll support Yahoo's new and growing commerce/team in a creative, fast-paced environment.
- Pitch and write shopping-focused articles, ensuring they meet our editorial and affiliate guidelines and standards.
- Optimize articles for SEO, maximum engagement and affiliate revenue
- Create and maintain databases in Google Sheets
- Update and re-publish articles with new headlines and products
- Coordinate with social media team to promote content on social channels and newsletter
- Attend occasional press events to preview relevant products
- Impeccable writing skills
- Passion for shopping-focused editorial content
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to coordinate and prioritize large and diverse workload on tight deadlines
- Ability to work independently and proactively under pressure
- Graphic design skills a plus
- Experience in: Excel, Photoshop, Canva, Google Sheets a plus

The compensation for this position ranges from $45,760.00 - $135,200.00/yr and will vary depending on factors such as your location, skills and experience. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary annual bonus or commissions, in addition to equity incentives. Yahoo has a high degree of flexibility around employee location and hybrid working. In fact, our flexible-hybrid approach to work is one of the things our employees rave about. Most roles don’t require specific regular patterns of in-person office attendance.
