The Marketing Associate, Events and Communications will be responsible for driving top of funnel lead growth through channels including virtual events, webinars, content, PR, and digital traffic.
This role reports into the Sr. Manager, Growth Marketing who leads a group within the Marketing Team that covers content creation, design, technical development, events, SEO, web design, and testing frameworks.
Responsibilities- Manage remote/virtual events strategy for the Company:
- Event coordination, logistics, promotions, MC duties, and reporting on results
- Brainstorming topics that will attract prospects in the target audience for affiliated brands
- Working with partners and internal parties to create content and decks for webinars
- Coordinating lead sharing strategies to drive demand for our product
- Driving marketing influenced pipeline and generating Marketing Accepted Leads (MALs) and Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs)
- Maintaining pre- and post-show communication
- Analyzing, tracking, and reporting on event ROI
- Communicating events strategy to entire Go to Market (GTM) organization
- Managing events budget
- Manage the down-funnel event strategy, including live case studies, product webinars, and events
- Assist in-person event team as-needed on trade show and conference presence, swag, etc.
- Partner with sales and marketing leadership to spearhead annual Sales Kick Off
- Support organization of client User Group
- Build strong relationships with customers, partners, and industry experts
- Own speaker proposals and award entries in conjunction with our PR agency
- Write and/or edit press releases as needed
- Manage guest blog posting program, including communicating with external writers, assisting with calendar management, and editing blogs
- Manage certain components of client and prospective client communications, from weekly newsletters to law alerts and other resources
- Write 1-3 blog posts per month to support the editorial calendar (e.g. promoting or recapping virtual events, or overview on new compliance law alerts)
- Working with partners, find opportunities to increase SEO using backlinking strategies and increase lead generation using newsletter and social media swaps
Requirements
- BA/BS Degree required
- Best-in-class interpersonal skills
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills
- Highly organized and strong time management skills, with an ability to manage resources and budgets
- Metric driven and have the ability to draw insight from complex marketing data
- Confident with a dynamic personality
- Real passion for learning new things
- Ability to travel, if needed
Nice to Haves
- Experience running B2B virtual events is preferred
- Experience with Zoom, Hubspot, and Salesforce is preferred; Marketo experience is a plus
