About the Role
Front Office Sports is looking for a skilled Editor to work flexibly and collaboratively with our social and editorial team. This hire would be responsible for developing high-quality content and assets for social platforms. This position requires a highly motivated individual that possesses a sophisticated visual style, flexibility, and a compelling portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with the social team to bring Front Office Sports content to life across social platforms
- Day-to-day oversight of FOS channels across Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, and other emerging platforms
- Live content publishing throughout calendar tentpole events
- Multitask across social platforms in real-time, actively engage in reaching and influencing a new audience through daily posts and stories
- Use analytics tools to track growth and success across social channels and manage weekly reporting
- Execute community management strategies on our social platforms to develop an engaged and loyal FOS audience
- Partner closely with the Director of Social to develop strategies for both organic and paid content
- Strong attention to detail and a solid understanding of visual communications principles
- Trailblaze new ideas, while still keeping with the principles of the brand
Ideal Skills and Qualifications:
- 2-4 years of relevant experience creating and owning social platforms, and understanding working within a brand language
- A passion for sports and a desire to create media-leading posts, strong knowledge of day-to-day headlines within sports and their influence on business and culture
- Keen editorial and photographic eye for creating strong, compelling posts that convey the appropriate tone and message
- Comfortable copywriting and producing assets in a fast-paced start-up environment
- Ability to meet deadlines and adapt to changing schedules and needs
- Comfortable researching storylines and executing final product
- Able to work independently and collaboratively, to take direction, and act on feedback
- Strong video editing skills and graphic design experience are a plus
- Day-to-day oversight of large social media accounts is a plus
