The Head of Brand Partnerships & Integrated Marketing is a new role that will be charged with building and managing relationships with key clients and agency stakeholders to build best-in-class campaigns with the preeminent brands in finance, investing, and professional services.
We’re seeking a self-starter, with deep experience in digital media to grow our revenue organization from the ground up. You should have a passion for partnerships, the tenacity to network and forge new relationships, and a goal-oriented attitude to surpass revenue goals and internal expectations.
The Head of Brand Partnerships & Integrated Marketing will be responsible for building a deep team of partnerships professionals, from sales professionals to account managers to creatives who can execute and “wow” clients with best-in-class campaigns.
Here’s what you’ll be working on:
-Managing the full sales cycle from meeting with decision-makers, understanding their campaign KPIs, and negotiating and closing new business
-Own and grow an account/category list through existing relationships, outreach, prospecting, networking, and research
-Vet and find decision-makers at qualified companies in relevant categories
-Understand and utilize specific data and audience insights that define The Daily Upside’s audience
-Prospecting & outreaching to a high volume of new and qualified partners
-Build out a team of sellers around you
-History of meeting and exceeding sales quotas as a result of the sale of complex deals
-Exceptional teamwork and collaboration skills. You understand accountability and put the team first, always
-Strong foundation in client presentations and meetings. You will be expected to quickly initiate quality conversations, RFP inclusion and/or other immediate revenue-generating opportunities
-Thorough understanding of the full sales cycle and digital media operations. This includes researching, prospecting, outreach, pitching, negotiating, and closing deals
-Ability to lead and close an RFP process, creating tailored partner proposals that include: native digital content, audio integrations, long-form content, social media & virtual event sponsorships
-Forecast, track and report on sales performance, meeting quarterly targets set by management
-Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.
Who you Are
- Significant professional digital or integrated media sales experience (5+ years)
- Experience specifically calling on brand partners in the finance category
- History of meeting and exceeding sales quotas as a result of the sale of complex deal
- Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
- Passion for delivering creative solutions that “wow” clients
