We are seeking a new Marketing Director to join our team. Your role will be to lead day-to-day functions of the marketing department by planning and overseeing marketing initiatives including strategic planning; proposal coordination and production; presentation development and production; internal communications and employee engagement initiatives; job-site and/or client event coordination; and special event planning; collaborate with senior executive to develop marketing strategies that will promote the organizations brands/services for increasing it's market share.
As a member of the Marketing Team, you will work with the Executive Team and outsourced Marketing Consultant.
As Marketing Director, you will:
- Lead a newly restructured Marketing department. Oversee recruitment/staffing, mentoring and oversight of marketing department resources.
- Implement brand, visual identity, and graphic design initiatives across all channels (website, collateral, social media, site signage, internal communications, etc.).
- Manage and oversee the production of responses to requests for proposals and qualifications for federal, state, local agencies and private sector clients including reviewing RFPs, meeting with project executives/project managers to determine approach and strategy, communicating with other proposal team members as needed including architects and engineers, writing and editing copy, developing proposal layout and graphics, reviewing, proofing, and editing progress drafts, ensuring compliance with RFP requirements, and finalizing proposals, including printing, binding, and/or creating compliant electronic formats.
- Manage and oversee the development and preparation of client-directed presentations for public and private sector clients and assist presentation teams with strategy and rehearsal for presentations; assist in development and preparation of informational and industry-related presentations for trade shows and conferences.
- Collaborate directly with executive team and Consulting CMO in development of an annual Marketing Plan
- Guide public relations activities including overseeing PR consultant for press release development and distribution, leading award submittals; responding to industry surveys and media inquiries; and, as needed, acting as liaison between company and the media.
- Direct the planning, organizing and hosting of a broad variety of events including employee functions; company-sponsored events; job-site events; client-focused events, etc.
- Strategize, plan, and implement social media content across LinkedIn and Instagram.
- Maintain company website; direct and organize the production of the employee newsletter (BLUE) and the corporate newsletter (Milestones).
- Work closely with the firm’s HR/Compliance department to ensure highest quality of internal communications.
- Various administrative duties as needed including correspondence; travel arrangements; processing and recording check requests; meeting planning and coordination; distributing tickets for client entertainment.
- Other duties and responsibilities as required.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Four-year degree (Marketing, Communications, or English
- Minimum of seven years of related experience, preferably in the A/E/C industry.
- Management experience required.
- Excellent organizational and communication (verbal and written) skills essential.
- Proficient in MS Office, and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, etc.).
- Must be able to effectively manage multiple projects and responsibilities.
- Position requires a moderate to high level of client interaction; strong communication interpersonal skills are essential.
