The Opportunity:
As CCI’s Senior Project Manager based in Washington DC, you will ensure the delivery of best-in-class project management, stakeholder communications, and establish scalable enterprise internal processes. Using your experience with trade associations, you will set up the appropriate systems and processes that allow for efficient and effective project delivery across multiple work streams. You will drive organizational objectives through a highly collaborative approach that includes goal setting, project and process management, communication, and reporting.
Working closely with Policy, Government Affairs, and Communications functions this role will track organizational performance against strategic goals/OKRs, as well as ensure visibility and transparency across all departments regarding project deliverables, milestones, and reporting. In addition you will be responsible for aligning member communications and execute external communications to stakeholders as needed. Other tasks may include aiding with research, participation in working groups, and the development of member-related communications.
In this role, you will work collaboratively with all internal teams within CCI, you will ensure that our projects, programs, events are running on schedule, within budget, and all relevant stakeholders have access to the tools, information, and visibility across departments to meet company objectives.
Responsibilities:
Understand CCI’s strategic goals and OKRs
Own CCI’s project portfolio and track departmental progress with weekly/quarterly updates, and escalating project status to CCI leadership
Responsible for updating and managing membership communication channels such as Member Portal, bi-weekly newsletter, working group list management, and tracking member communications overall.
Maintain project management tools and processes
Create project plans & timeline templates, reporting, and internal communications
Design and strategies for stakeholder engagement and communications
Own and successfully execute strategic projects as needed
Collaborate with the Communications team on the development of project related content assets to be used in external channels
Collaborate with internal teams to optimize Working Group processes and communications
Support the ongoing engagement of a globally-diverse and inclusive Partner community
Develop materials for reporting to CCI’s Board of Directors as needed
About You:
5+ years of project management experience within a Trade Association
Bachelor’s degree in related field Project Management Certification a plus
Demonstrated experience developing and implementing scalable project management processes
Excellent research, analytical, written and verbal communications skills
Demonstrated ability to work across cultures, time zones, and sectors
Relationship and consensus-building skills; strong listening and reporting skills
Superior organizational skills; championing an organizational approach to ruthless prioritization
Ability to independently set priorities to meet timelines, to motivate and influence others; prior people management or mentoring/coaching experience a plus
A passion for crypto/web3, humility, and eagerness to learn
Comfortable in a fast-moving, high-energy, remote-first environment
The ability to travel as needed
