Job Title: Copywriter
Direct Manager: Editorial Director
Briogeo is looking for an exceptional Copywriter with Beauty Industry Experience to build cohesive and compelling content in the Briogeo voice.
The copywriter is responsible for working cross-departmentally to ensure that the Briogeo brand voice is highly effective and cohesive across the following channels but not limited to: Digital, Marketing, Packaging, Editorial, Visual Merchandising, and YouTube/Video.
WHO YOU ARE
● Smart and sharp writer with a deep understanding of the beauty space and trends.
● Experience in writing both marketing copy and long form content.
● Passionate about beauty/hair, with clear vision on how Briogeo’s opportunity to turn on storytelling across channels.

ROLE + RESPONSIBILITIES
● Write copy for all brand collateral across departments to ensure consistency and an elevated and modern tone.
● Work closely with the digital team on marketing copy for briogeo.com and email newsletter marketing.
● Pitch and interview talent for Editorial content on the Briogeo blog.
● Build and manage blog articles, work closely with creative team on the realization of content pieces.
● Concept campaign messaging in tandem with Editorial Director.
● Utilize SEO best practices to build compelling content that contributes to traffic goals.
● Proofread work and edit copy across all channels.
● Infuse optimism and conversational quality into all Briogeo branded materials.
● Support on internal communications as necessary.
Management + Leadership
● Maintain internal organization of freelance roster (both writers and talent).
● Promote inclusivity and diversity authentically within all that we do.
● Promote a culture of high performance and continuous improvement that values learning and a commitment to quality & Briogeo values.
REQUIREMENTS
● 4-6 years of experience in Beauty or D2C.
● Experience in developing marketing copy from concept to execution.
● Experience in social media marketing.
● Proficient in Word, GSuite, PowerPoint.
● Experience reporting against traffic goals and SEO best practices.
● Excellent written and copy-editing skills.
● Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
● An eye for detail and accuracy, without compromising timeline.
● Excellent written/verbal skills, including a demonstrated experience with developing strategic and engaging storytelling for presentations.
● Experience managing the back end of blog or article systems.
● Experience with Project Management software’s (Wrike, Asana, etc.)
● We disclose the compensation range for positions in compliance with local law. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Wella Company's total rewards package for employees. Pay Range: <$55,100 - $80,850 > salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonus plan or variable pay, depending on the role.
