Summary
The Full Time Social Media Manager & Content Producer is responsible for planning, developing, implementing, and managing strategies and execution for all of the social media accounts of Erika De La Cruz (EDLC). The Social Media Manager & Content Producer reports directly to the Executive Team, with direct and daily correspondence with the Brand Manager of the company.
Company Accountabilities
- Ensure that the brand vision, mission, and values are understood and supported, including with independent contractors, vendors, and partners.
- Remain current and knowledgeable about media trends, pop culture, fashion, and current news (local, national, global).
- Remain current and knowledgeable of social media trends across platforms
- Remain current and knowledgeable with activities, initiatives and happenings in the EDLC calendar.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Attend regular, weekly team meetings (in person and virtual)
- Be available in-person for daily support in the Content department (From ideation, to shooting and execution.)
- Planning, developing, implementing, and managing strategies and execution for all of the social media accounts of EDLC.
- Engage with EDLC followers and the community across all platforms; responsible for account inboxes, comments, and mentions
- Strategize and Implement companies social media campaigns and partnerships as needed and directed by executive management team
- Strategize and cross-promote all digital cross-over from blog & website to social platforms.
- Lead & manage company giveaways, collaborative posts, and ads
- Serve as the primary point of contact (“gatekeeper”) for our brand’s social media accounts and login information.
- Design or create new ways and projects to use social media to promote our brand, events, and content.
- Track and report key analytics from our social media platform and discover data patterns to keep our performance up and growing.
- Attend parties/events with the Executive team or in place of them to represent the company.
- Work with & delegate responsibilities to appropriate associates or interns working in the social media department, including but not limited to: execution of social media strategy, posting, or campaigns.
- Familiarity with software programs such as Canva, Adobe products (Premiere, Photoshop), CapCut, ChatGPT, etc.
Editorial Content Creation & Management
- Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy to increase brand awareness and drive website traffic

- Manage and grow all social media accounts (e.g. Instagram, Pinterest, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, Newsletter etc.)
- Create engaging video content for Instagram, TikTok and other social media platforms.
- Edit videos using software such as Adobe Premiere, Cap Cut, Final Cut Pro, or similar.
- Create engaging content, including text, images, and videos, to be used across all social media platforms.
- Stay up to date on Industry’s best practices, trends and structural relevance of social media and digital trends.
- Familiarity with Founder/CEO aesthetic style and be able to execute future aesthetic goals
- Willing to familiarize oneself with digital affiliate systems and programs
- Bonus: photography skills, copywriting, as well as good understanding of A.I. tools (ChatGPT, CopyAi, etc)
- Monitor and analyze social media metrics to track success and adjust strategy as needed
- Collaborate with the blogger and other team members to develop and execute campaigns
- Familiarize and utilize digital affiliate links for shopping/partnerships and more, including but not limited to: Amazon Storefront, Like it to Know it and more
- Use Wordpress to draft engaging blog posts that correspond to the brand narrative /programming.
- Film videos to create engaging, authentic content for brand channels, using iphone or camera
Requirements
- The role is hybrid depending on workload, expect to be in-office or remote and/or available on weekends
- Provide own laptop, computer for email communication and remote meetings
- Provide own phone for lines of communication
- Bonus: possess personal camera equipment, lighting tools and tripod tools
Events & Travel
- Be available to travel for business events, company outings, events, and more on weekdays and weekends
- Parking Expenses will be reimbursed, mileage will not be reimbursed
- Be available for travel domestically and internationally
- Expenses for flight/hotel travel will be reimbursed
