Located 30 miles north of downtown Dallas, Omni PGA Frisco Resort is the largest resort currently in development in the country. Opening spring 2023, the resort will feature 500 guest rooms and suites, 10 four-bedroom ranch houses, three pools, including an adults-only rooftop infinity pool, a destination spa, Lounge by Top Golf, and over 127,000-square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting and event space. An expansive retail and entertainment district will feature dining, shopping and an outdoor stage set to be activated for concerts and outdoor programming. The Resort will become a leading destination for golf providing an unparalleled experience for those who are advanced players, new to the game, and everything in between. The resort will offer 46 holes of golf designed by Beau Welling and Gil Hanse, including two 18-hole championship golf courses, a lighted 10-hole short course, and a lighted two-acre putting green.
Omni PGA Frisco Resort is hiring a Human Resources Generalist to provide clerical and administrative support in the Human Resources Department with associate engagement, recruitment, training, compliance and onboarding process that align with Omni standards.
- Professionally and warmly interact with all guests to ASC
- Provide administrative support to HR Director and HR leadership
- Assist in the recruitment and onboarding process in collaboration with corporate team, HR team and hiring managers
- Maintain associate trackers and logs, i.e. New Hire Tracker, Promotion/Transfer Logs
- Ensure proper backgrounds and pre-employment processes are followed
- Ensure all New Associate Files have all appropriate paperwork, signed acknowledgments, applicable licenses/certificates
- Maintain department logs, binders, and employee files
- Develop associate communications network within the hotel, via weekly newsletter, monthly calendar, bulletin boards, posters, and flyers
- Enter and maintain all associate data into UltiPro (HRIS)
- Maintain orderliness of office supplies and equipment
- Participates in planning and execution of associate events planned by the Human Resources Department
- Champions Omni culture on property, and enthusiastically promotes opportunities within the hotel and company
- Facilitate a culture of praise and recognition by assisting with the implementation of various employee recognition programs
- Participate in the Hotel Orientation Program
- Complete other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications
- Must be proficient using Microsoft Office Products
- Must have outstanding verbal and written communication skills and the ability to coach, counsel, advise, mentor, and motivate associates and managers at all levels
- Must be flexible with schedule to include some weekends
- 1 year HR experience (hotel experience preferred)
Physical Requirements
- The ability to sit and utilize telephone/computer for an extended period.
Working Environment
- Office environment with frequent travel around property.
