The Marketing and Communications Associate will support corporate marketing, product marketing, and enterprise communications in executing the communications and marketing strategy to internal and external audiences.
This role will assist in managing day-to-day brand governance and marketing needs such as content creation, campaign scheduling, and event logistics.
Minimum Preferred Qualifications:
Marketing
- Assists with marketing content and campaigns/projects, including, but not limited to, company website, blog posts, public relations, social media, web development, webinars, sales collateral, and presentations
- Review and edit marketing copy for grammatical correctness and appropriate style and ensure materials pass the quality and brand standards
- Coordinate with the marketing and content teams to generate digital and print advertising material
- Manages and attends tradeshows, including but not limited to planning, negotiation, sponsorship, promotion, logistics, analytics, and post-show follow-ups
- Organize brand content and image library
- Coordinate marketing, social media, and communications calendar
- Manage stable relationships with marketing, brand, and event suppliers
Communications
- Assists in internal communication efforts, including newsletter development, company intranet, and digital signage
- Organizes and communicates internal company events
- Supports issuing press releases and external communications
Departmental
- Assists team by performing a variety of support duties, including but not limited to data collection, research, and asset maintenance
- Effectively manage daily administrative tasks such as project tracking, meeting scheduling and departmental expense processing
- Support intradepartmental marketing needs
Skills
- Ability to exercise independent judgment and discretion to make non-routine choices within established guidelines, with minimal supervision
- Demonstrated ability to work with professionalism in a fast-paced team
environment
- Willing and able to work under an environment with constantly changing priorities and tight deadlines
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a diverse community
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat Pro, HTML
- Experience in project management (managing projects, defining scope, tracking achievements) and ability to management multiple priorities and/or projects
- Unquestioned integrity and ethics with a confident but well-grounded approach to doing work
Education/Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business administration, or related field
- Not less than two (2) years’ relevant experience working in sales, business development, or marketing

- This position has no supervisory responsibilities

Working Environment
- Primarily office
- Routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets
- Work requires travel (20-25%)
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
- This is a full-time position
- Some flexibility in hours is allowed, but the employee must be available during the “core” work hours as published in the BioAgilytix Employee Handbook
- Occasional weekend, holiday, and evening work required
