Salary range: $37,500 - $42,000
Context: Hybrid remote / in-office position with flexible scheduling.

Summary:
The Advertising and Promotion Commission is the over-arching organization that manages Experience Fayetteville (the destination marketing organization for Fayetteville, Arkansas) and the Fayetteville Town Center. The Digital Marketing Coordinator is based out of Experience Fayetteville and reports to the Vice President of Marketing and Communications, while taking on projects under the direction of the broader marketing team. This position plays a critical role in Experience Fayetteville’s digital marketing efforts in support of our overarching mission to bring about a positive economic impact through tourism.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Under direction of marketing team, post provided content to organization’s primary social media channels with attention to accessibility, links, and tags
- Assist with posting content to partner social media accounts and updating web copy for our partner brands including Fayetteville Town Center and Fayetteville Ale Trail
- Configure and format provided content into email newsletter, send using
MailChimp
- Monitor primary social media inboxes and online comments. Provide customer service for online requests.
- Grow social media engagement through comments, links, and other interaction
- Regularly update experiencefayetteville.com Event Calendar
- Lead the implementation of Instagram Story Highlights and updating LinkinBio
- Audit and update organization’s listings on Extranet, Apple Maps, Google
Places, and other partner websites
- Update and utilize organization’s photo storage database
- Occasionally attend community events and visit local businesses to capture content for social media
- Coordinate with partner social media accounts to host and monitor social media giveaways
Qualifications
- Experience managing social media for a business or organization
- Attention to detail, strong writing and editing skills
- Mobile phone photography skills
- Experience with MailChimp or similar newsletter platform, preferred
Physical Demands and Job Context:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee must frequently communicate via email and phone. The employee must regularly type and read web content. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close range reading of digital content.
This is a hybrid position, accommodating both remote and in-office work. Working from home on a part-time basis is encouraged, with the understanding that in-office work in Fayetteville is also required. The specific work schedule is flexible, and will be negotiated upon hire.
Occasional night and weekend event attendance is required. Must be able to travel around
Fayetteville to capture content. (Mileage is reimbursed.) Requires use of personal cell phone and cell phone camera.
