Senior Manager of Content Marketing for
MDLinx.

Job Description
- Develop content marketing plans that utilize all owned, earned, and paid channels to drive awareness, interest and registrations on MDLinx.
- Track and share cross-channel content performance with the editorial team, highlighting top performers, most and least effective content types and data-based recommendations by channel, for future content development
- Craft and publish marketing copy for all newsletter assets, including but not limited to preheaders, blurbs, short titles, and marketing titles
- Oversee the day-to-day management of all branded social media accounts across key major and emerging social channels (i.e., Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, etc.).
- Ensure marketing copy across the organization has a consistent tone, style, and voice that reflects the overall MDLinx brand
- Select syndicated content to be published on MDLinx.com and included in newsletters
- Utilize social media to support key business initiatives to amplify our content and raise our brand profile
- Plan and deliver key business events/webinars, managing all aspects of digital event planning, including virtual room setup, speaker preparations, run of show documentation, tech rehearsals, and best practices
- Collaborate with internal partners to develop, deploy, and optimize compelling social creative assets.
- Partner with channel leads to develop A/B tests to optimize our copy performance and increase front-end response rates
- Work consultatively with marketing channel leads, to ensure that copy writing best practices are implemented
- Partner with the data team to develop consistent reporting that informs strategic decisions and tactical recommendations
- Create and document assets, tracking codes, tagging, UTMs, URLs and other elements required for campaign execution and reporting.
- Ad hoc projects as requested by management
Qualifications
- BA/BS degree, preferably in Communications, Marketing, or another related field
- Minimum of 7-10 years of B2B digital marketing experience
- Minimum of 3-5 years of B2B paid social experience
- Minimum of 2 years management experience
- Hands-on experience writing marketing and promotional copy for use across multiple digital channels and audiences
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills; meticulous attention to detail, and ability to work both quickly and accurately
- A strong understanding of social channels best practices and how to effectively drive results across multiple platforms focusing on audience engagement and brand-building
- Management of paid social media budgets, timelines, and social calendars
- Experience using social media software (e.g., Sprout Social; Social Studio; HubSpot)
- Comfortable serving as the team’s social media and digital events marketing expert; advocating copy and design best practices, as well as, testing new ways to optimize campaign results.
- Strong project management skills; able to manage concurrent projects with tight deadlines.
- Ability to work with key stakeholders and internal partners to develop testing protocols and use data to optimize performance; familiar with reporting tools such as Tableau, Google Analytics, Omniture etc.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; a can-do, collaborative attitude; ability to work with stakeholders across the organization
- Comfortable serving as the team’s marketing and promotional copy writer; advocating copy best practices and testing new ways to optimize campaign results.
- Proven ability and willingness to learn new digital channels, data, and technology platforms to maximize the value they can deliver
- Think critically and be able to identify, share and implement actionable insights
- Possess effective written and verbal communication skills
- Must be self-directed, results-oriented, nimble, and able to work well under pressure while meeting tight deadlines
- Excellent follow-up and follow-through skills
- Good visual design sense
- Embrace change and possess a positive attitude
- Results oriented, flexible, a willingness to question the status quo and seek “outside of the box” solutions
- Ability to “find the funny” or the silver lining in stressful situations
- HCP industry experience a bonus
- They will be a strong and succinct communicator and a stickler for grammar and spelling accuracy.
- They will craft engaging and effective copy, varying tone and style based upon the project, platform, and the targeted HCP audience segment.
