Job Purpose
The Dior Corporate Trainee participates in a program designed to identify and develop future talent for the organization across functional areas. The mission of the department is to drive focus on clients and associates through reducing, simplifying and standardizing process, while optimizing business performance. By working closely with the assigned department, the trainee supports the organization’s short and long-term objectives through day-to-day administrative tasks and delivering seamless communication between the Boutiques and Corporate Office through clear, consistent, and streamlined processes. The role will be offered an hourly rate of $20/hr, plus eligibility to participate in the Company's medical benefit plan.
Tasks And Responsibilities
COMMUNICATIONS
Retail Excellence
Support the Manager for critical execution of the following
- Communication flow
- Create and publish the weekly newsletter
- Communicate information to teams following set workflow and cadence
- Partnership with key corporate teams (Merchandising, Training, Clienteling, VM, HR, Events)
- To create and update monthly roadmap calendar
- To maintain and update data for the Retail Directory
- Client survey program
- Monitor boutiques’ utilization of the platform and follow up on resolution of sensitive cases
- Support with ad-hoc operations projects
Communication Tool For Boutiques
- Knowledge and maintenance of the tool
- Provide effective communication of tasks, updates, alerts, and reminders to the teams
- Partner with key corporate teams to create specific communications
Internal Retail Website For Corporate And Boutiques
- Monitor functionality and teams’ access
- Partner with various corporate and retail teams to create content and articles
Skills And Competenticies
- Full-time, 6 Month Program
- Must be available M-F, 9-6pm
- At least 6 months of prior experience
- Strong English communications skills both verbal and written
- Excellent follow-through practices
- Solid attention to detail and accuracy
- Must have an extremely strong sense of urgency and ability to work independently
- Strong time management skills and prioritization with the ability to work under specific timelines and fast-paced environments
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office programs (PowerPoint, Excel, Word & Outlook)
- Ability to learn quickly and retain processes
- Background in Retail, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Operations preferably in Luxury environment
