Internship Title: Digital Marketing Support Specialist
Reports to: Digital Content Coordinator
Division: Digital Marketing
Hours: Part-time, flexible; 10-19 hrs./week

Summary:

The role of the Digital Marketing Support Specialist is to complement and assist the Digital Marketing Department with projects related to social media, website management, SERVPRO of Montgomery County event coordination, lead funnel optimization, and customer relations.
Successful candidates will be comfortable operating within Google Workspace, performing graphic design, drafting and reviewing copy for web and other mediums, using social media platforms for business, and interested in or experienced with event coordination.
Ability to think creatively and collaborate with team members is a must. Exceptional time management and communication is key.

Primary Roles and Responsibilities:
Marketing Administration
Work directly with Google Ad Lead Funnel to catalog, track, and analyze call data for ROI, sales feedback, and customer service metrics.
Serve as main respondent to Customer Reviews on Maps, Facebook, Yelp, and other platforms.
Assists with website updates for all 19 franchise websites including employee rosters, uploading blog posts, and light SEO optimization.
Maintain and curate the company’s Media Library including uploading + organizing files and optimizing it for the team’s use.
Assist with monthly digital marketing reporting process including data harvest, entry, and light analysis.

MoCo Events
Assist with planning, prep, and execution of SERVPRO of Montgomery County events and initiatives.
Capture, conceptualize, and execute digital content related to SERVPRO MoCo events.
Craft event related materials such as flyers, invitations, social posts, email blasts, etc

Content Creation
Craft short, effective captions for social media, including optimization of hashtags, geo tags, alt text, mentions, and closed captions.
Creation of graphics, short form video, and various design elements.
Manage quarterly email newsletter including content creation, copywriting, light graphic design, and list maintenance.

SERVPRO Team Nicholson will adhere to and comply with any accredited university internship program requirements so that this role may qualify for credit hours. Opportunities for mentorship, networking, skill development, and shadowing will be prioritized. Class schedule, academic commitments, and school calendar will be accommodated.

Physical and Work Environment Requirements: This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses office equipment such as computers, phones, and printers. This job requires the ability to lift, bend, stand, walk, and sit for extended periods of time.
