Provi is looking for a Communications Manager / Specialist responsible for helping execute Provi’s internal and external communication strategy. This person would report directly to the Director of Corporate Communications, and spearhead media relations, events, and assist in internal communication needs.
What this role will have responsibility for:
- Draft press releases, media pitches and white papers
- Build strong relationships with trade, business, and technology press to uncover media opportunities
- Spearhead tracking and reporting for media opportunities; working closely with Marketing Assist in building out presentation decks for webinars and speaking engagements
- Develop and launch the Company’s internal newsletter
- Work closely with Customer Success, Publishing and Marketing to develop Company’s first Brand Ambassador program
- Manage external events by overseeing the coordination and execution of the annual events calendar.
- Liaise with vendors, exhibitors, and stakeholders during the event planning process to ensure everything is in order.
- Schedule and run pre and post event calls with internal teams.
- Coordinate external partners communication with business units pre-and-post show.
- Travel to large activation events and manage all event set-up, tear down, and follow-up processes.
- Assist Corporate Communications and Marketing departments with the execution of Company-owned partner events.
- Maintain event budgets.
What we hope to see in your experience:
- 2+ years’ experience in communications or public relations role; in-house or agency experience preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Effective time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Willing to travel and be onsite at our premiere events/conferences
- Possesses a high level of attention to detail, accuracy and ability to multitask.
- Resilient, and easily adaptable to change.
- Excellent time management skills, and the ability to prioritize and focus on multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to be proactive, and solve problems expeditiously, while always maintaining a calm and professional demeanor.
- Proficient in Google Suite.
- Prior experience with Asana or other Project Management software preferred.
