Our client, an investment advisory company, is looking to hire exceptionally talented individual to join their team as a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Program Associate. Reporting into the co-heads of DEI, this individual will work closely across business teams, employee resource groups, and the Talent Acquisition, Communications and Human Capital Management space to help execute the firm’s ongoing commitment to DEI.
The DEI Program Associate will facilitate the implementation of initiatives aligned to their DEI strategy across the broader organization and ensure DEI is embedded within the innerworkings of the business. This is a high impact role that will be instrumental in executing their DEI strategy and vision into actionable programs.

Responsibilities of the (DEI) Program Associate
- help manage theDEI Alliance and sub-communities.
- help develop and drive DEI initiatives based on assessment of existing internal and external programs in collaboration with their leaders and measure progress.
- be responsible for maintaining the DEI calendar, budget, and communications.
- develop a big picture understanding of their business, brand & values, and act as a champion of their tag line “Talent is our strategy.”
- assist in executing all DEI related events including in-person events, panels, weekly coffee chats and service days.
- In coordination with their communications team, they will prepare and create content for a DEI newsletter, DEI marketing materials and communications that will be internally and externally.
Requirements of the (DEI) Program Associate
- A bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years of experience in the DEI, Talent Management, Communications or Human Capital Management Space
- Strong relationship building and networking abilities across internal stakeholders
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience supporting employee resource groups
- Knowledge and understanding of diversity space including partnerships, conferences, and best practices
- Experience with event planning and end-to-end execution
- Ability to continually prioritize and multi-task in a dynamic, fast paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and exceptionally organized
- Excellent communication skills in both verbal and written form
- Passion for impact across all things DEI
- Collaborative but also able to work independently
- Self-Starter and forward-thinker
