TITLE: Digital Media Coordinator
LOCATION: Hybrid: McLane Center in Concord, NH and remotely.
HOURS: 35 hours per week, full-time, hourly benefited position.
SCHEDULE: Typically Monday-Friday, 9:00am-5:00 with 1-hour lunch. Evenings and weekends occasionally required.
FUNCTION: This position will support the mission of New Hampshire Audubon: to protect New Hampshire’s natural environment for wildlife and for people, by coordinating and implementing NH Audubon’s digital and social media strategy. This role will work closely with the Director of Communications to produce social media posts, digital email newsletters and announcements, update the website, promote events and programs online, and grow our digital audience and co-marketing relationships.
LEADERSHIP: Reports to the Director of Communications
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Promote New Hampshire Audubon’s activities and mission through digital communications and marketing efforts by:
- Communicating conservation research, education, and policy activities of the organization through digital communications.
- Promoting NH Audubon through social media outlets (including but not limited to Twitter, YouTube, Facebook, & Instagram) to increase public awareness of the organization’s activities and accomplishments and make public announcements.
- Coordinating, creating, and managing the biweekly email newsletter, and special issue emails, in collaboration with all centers and departments.
- Assisting with the management and editing of website content.
- Build co-marketing relationships through social media and other outreach methods.
- Providing overall support as needed for the Communications Department.
- Performing other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience: Must have knowledge and experience within the field of conservation, wildlife, or related science. At least three years communications and marketing experience required with demonstrated ability to make independent and coordinated decisions. Must have expertise in digital media and experience editing website content. Technical expertise and experience with Adobe Photoshop, MS Office, email marketing tools (ex: MailChimp, Constant Contact), social media management tools (ex: Sprout, HootSuite), and web content programs such as WordPress. Must have excellent verbal and written communication and organizational skills with the ability to work effectively within a diverse community. Motivated self-starter able to work independently but also a strong team player comfortable in a highly collaborative work environment. Experience in a nonprofit work environment and bachelor’s degree preferred.

Must have the ability to prioritize and complete work tasks on time in a complex and dynamic workflow; demonstrated excellent customer service skills, ability to work independently, with professional and courteous manner. Strong organizational and planning skills; Proficient in Microsoft Office. Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to pass a criminal background check. Must be fully vaccinated and boosted against COVID-19 and can provide COVID vaccination card.
Physical Demands: Must be able to work both in the McLane Center office and remotely. Must be physically and mentally capable of performing multiple tasks under deadline and be able to function in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation: Compensation for this full-time, non-exempt position is $18 per hour plus benefits.
