Joining the Carbon Services team, this is a client facing role influencing iconic real estate projects and portfolio on greenhouse gas (GHG) accounting, emissions forecasting leveraging data.
In this role you will,
- Collaborate closely with our Carbon, ESG, Sustainability Consulting and Energy and Performance Engineering service groups to deliver data-informed solutions to a variety of client types including public and private corporations, cities, universities, and others
- Serve as a subject matter expert to internal team members and Stok clients regarding GHG accounting, data management, and Excel-based analysis
- Independently manage data components of multiple client engagements at the same time, including data collection, GHG inventory development, GHG inventory verification, inventory management plan (IMP) development, target feasibility assessments, emissions forecasting, reduction modeling, cost modeling, and ongoing data management systems and tools
We are looking for
- A passion for data cleaning and analysis, and using data to drive climate action
- 4+ years’ experience in corporate GHG accounting and expertise in applying best practices for data cleaning, validation, and estimation as related to GHG inventories
- Expert understanding and hands-on experience applying methodologies outlined in the Greenhouse Gas Protocol and other commonly accepted guidance source
- Demonstrated expertise in applying best practices for data cleaning, validation, and estimation as related to GHG inventories
Tech Focus: Advanced use of Microsoft Excel, and of Python or R
