The
Marketing Coordinator plans, develops, and implements marketing strategies for assigned lines of business. The Marketing Coordinator measures analyzes and reports key performance indicators. Areas of focus may include fundraising, advocacy, events, and/or clinical education marketing.
This is a full-time REMOTE (work-from-home) position. Occasional travel to the ONS Headquarters in Pittsburgh, PA throughout the year will be required.
Responsibilities- Executes marketing plans
- Writes creative briefs and develops copy
- Creates and manages project plans
- Identifies and measures KPIs
- Partners with internal and external resources to create marketing materials
- Manages vendor relationships
- Provides status updates
- Work with cross-functional teams
- Understands desired business results
- Develops comprehensive marketing strategy and plans
- Partners with ONS’s digital marketing coordinators
- Augments digital strategy with campaign-specific social media, email, and e-Newsletter content
- Utilizes market research and available member and non-member data to understand the customer’s voice
- Refines target audience segments
- Identifies key drivers and trends
- Demonstrates and supports a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion
Qualifications And Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations, or a related area of study
- 2-4 years of marketing experience
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite
- Strong knowledge of marketing fundamentals, brand concepts, and brand management
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects
- Written and oral presentation skills including presenting information to management, public groups, and boards of directors
- Ability to respond to inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or the business community
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents

Pay Range
Oncology Nursing Society uses a market-based approach to pay. Pay rates are established considering the following factors: federal, state, and local minimum wage requirements, job-related skills, experience, qualifications, and market conditions. Our ranges may be modified periodically based on market analysis.
Anticipated Starting Pay Range: $58,462 to $67,962
