We’re searching for a Communications Manager who understands the importance of creativity and ownership. Our Comms Manager will foster our brand growth and employee engagement through web, email, social, and attention-getting internal communications. We’re looking for someone who can quickly learn our story and can tell it in the right way, no matter the audience. The right person will strategize and execute on all types of content creation, from internal newsletters to product content and thought leadership, to social media, email campaigns, and more. This position will report to the Vice President of Marketing and Communications.
Responsibilities
- Use your creative spark to be our brand champion; embrace and protect our tone of voice across all written content
- Understand the pulse of our organization to produce our internal newsletter; strategize with stakeholders on when and how to communicate important internal information for maximum impact
- Take ownership of our intranet; partner with other members of the team and the wider company to evaluate and increase usage, identify improvements, and more
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to learn our products and our industry; generate content and ideas that drive thought leadership articles, blog posts, and case studies
- Own our quarterly Town Hall process from a communications, logistics, and technology perspective; lead tech and content run-throughs, create and communicate agendas, and partner closely with our Chief People Officer to ensure a smooth and informative session
- Become a strategic partner to our DISC (Diversity & Inclusion) and Rhinos (employee engagement) groups to evangelize the great work they do across multiple channels
- Manage our two social media channels, including content calendars; direct our design team to create assets based on your strategy requirements and ensure posts hit our channels at the right time, with the right purpose
- Research and write quick-hit content, including emails, web content, video scripts, press releases, and more
- Look for opportunities to engage with employees and discover ways to tell the story of our culture
Qualifications
· 5-7 years of professional experience
· Bachelors degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field
· Exceptional interpersonal, writing, and speaking skills
· Knowledge of internal and external communications practices
· Ability to create and execute on social calendar using Hootsuite
· Knowledge of Jira/Confluence a plus
· Comfort with leading conversations and gaining insight from multiple levels of the organization
· Ability to own your projects and track from start to finish
