AltRider is looking for a Marketing and communications specialist that will be responsible for a range of marketing activities, including video editing, social media management, forum activities, and more. AltRider is a Seattle-based company designing, developing, and marketing gear for Adventure Touring motorcycles. We are an industry-leading product design team that has reset the industry expectations with highly functional products that also complement the design of the motorcycle. Our products feature unmatched installation and fit and are built with quality manufacturing methods and materials.
AltRider has an immediate need for a motivated Marketing and Communications Specialist who is a self starter and a knowledge of the motorcycle or powersports industry. This position has room for growth as we continue to develop our marketing and video production. We are looking for a creative thinker with an excellent work ethic that is self-driven and motivated by responsibility. The position will include working with key customers, internal stakeholders, and influencers to build a well rounded approach to marketing and communications within the powersports industry.
Responsibilities
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Photo/ Video Capture and Edit
• Write scripts, prepare set, and capturing product videos.
• Capture studio and installed product photography.
• Edit, or manage contractor to edit photos
• Prioritize schedule for content release based on manufacturing schedules
Promotion
• Write copy for video scripts, product pages, social media posts, and monthly newsletters
• Develop promotional strategy across various social channels for new and existing products
• Design and develop promotional material to accompany new products
• Utilize social channels to effectively promote new products and increase brand awareness
• Write and distribute monthly newsletter and campaigns
• Dealer liaison for product launches and sales activity.
Qualifications
Requirements:
• Video/ photo capture and editing or management of contracted photo editors
• Experience writing product copy or technical writing
• Experience with writing newsletters
• Experience using social media platforms for marketing purposes
• BS Marketing or equivalent experience.
Additional Desired Qualifications:
• Experience in graphic design (Adobe suite preferred)
• Experience writing scripts for product announcements
• Experience writing newsletters for target markets
• Familiarity with prominent market/ industry forums
