The Community Campaign Coordinator will support the overall fundraising growth in West Tennessee by leading our community giving campaigns – Backpack Heroes, Tiger Tickets and Holiday Heroes – and giveback events throughout the community. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year experience in fundraising, sales or related field with a track record of being a team player and multi-tasker. This position will be located in Memphis at the Operations Center and report to the Assistant Director of Development. Ability to work some nights and weekends is required.
- Lead community giving campaigns – Backpack Heroes, Tiger Tickets and Holiday Heroes and related events
- Collaborating with regional program and development staff on programs to ensure the needs are met for the children being served
- Managing timeline, volunteers, and relationships to create successful events
- Responsible for identifying, soliciting and securing in-kind donations throughout West Tennessee
- Assist development team to secure individual and corporate sponsors
- Serve as the lead on non-profit third party or giveback events. Manages and cultivates those relationships and provides all necessary resources to those partners
- Lead the identification and arrangement of speaking engagements with community groups to grow our presence in the community
- Coordinate with program staff on additional volunteer engagement opportunities
- Collaborate with the Development Director, Assistant Director of Development and other members of the Development team on marketing and communications efforts
- Assist Development team members in creating content for quarterly newsletter, special events and marketing materials
- Assist with the planning of donor cultivation events
- Assist with donor and prospect engagement activities and Volunteer and Donor Engagement Coordinator on volunteer activities
- Assist Development Coordinator with fundraising and special events
- Assist Development Operations Manager with employee giving campaign – Our Family Campaign
- Maintains accurate data in Salesforce. Creates and manages appropriate tracking system for reporting activities.

- Working knowledge of donor management software (e.g. Raiser’s Edge, Salesforce)
- Understanding of best practices in donor stewardship and communication
