This role drives the strategy and execution of all digital + brand marketing initiatives across HALEYS marketing, including website management and analytics, social media strategy, influencer/ambassador partnerships, content development, paid ads, affiliate program, SEO and site optimization for the company.
1) Brand Marketing: Develop and execute 360 launch strategies – HALEYSBeauty.com campaigns to drive customer acquisition, retention, and brand loyalty
- Create and execute 360 HB.com marketing calendar and weekly campaigns to support customer retention + acquisition, promotions, and launches
- Align marketing calendar, activities and content across HB.com including social, paid media, email newsletter, influencer, blog, etc.
- Ensure that all brand elements in terms of esthetics & tone voice are consistently carried throughout all creatives, campaign initiatives and customer service copy
- Be scrappy about attaining content/photo assets in an affordable and budget conscious manner
- Track and analyze all channel assortment sales, productivity and return rates
- Deliver annual and monthly analysis on current business and trends with an understanding of client insights, categories, and competitive landscape
2) Digital Marketing: We are looking for a digital + brand marketing professional who is extremely well-versed in digital marketing, lead capture and nurturing best practices able to expertly grasp digital behavior trends, marketing, and sales analytics. Review, manage and update (if needed) the following platforms: Shopify, Klayvio, GA Dashboard and etc.
3) Paid Media & SEO:
- Work with paid ad agency/consultant to improve and achieve target ROAS, impressions and other metrics. Paid Media PPC may include other retail channels outside of DTC (e.g. Amazon, Macys, QVC and etc…) Existing paid ads are on: Google Ads, Meta Ads, and TikTok
- Source a SEO partner to match with budget and needs of HALEYS (to build backlink authority, increase page rankings, and ensure website updates are made keeping SEO in mind)
4) Affiliate, Influencers and Ambassador Programs – Drive product launch, key promotional periods or other brand campaigns through influencer, ambassador and affiliate programs
- Affiliate programs: understand/oversee Refersion Affiliate platform (with help of Digital Marketing Contractor) to outreach/prospecting, approve affiliate partnerships, monitor payments, create affiliate page/intake form on HB.com and etc…
- Direct Marketing Intern on influencer and ambassador programs: responsible for the strategy and execution on both programs, lead UGC creation, align with marketing calendar to optimize campaigns and opportunities for conversion
5) Miscellaneous:
- Responsible for creating a sustainable sales and marketing budget for HB.com and executing against the budget
- Report weekly and monthly results (including ROAs, impressions and etc.) and provide context/analysis for DTC, Paid Ads, Emails, Affiliate, Influencer, Ambassador and etc…
- Manage, lead and drive Digital Marketing Contractor, Marketing Intern, Paid Ads Contractor, Graphic Designer contractors, Shopify Agency and etc…
- Continuously look for opportunities for HALEYS to grow sustainably
You could be the perfect fit if you have:
- Bachelor’s degree with 5-10 years of brand and digital marketing experience in the beauty landscape. Some experience working with Paid Media, SEO and influencers is helpful
- Strong leadership, communication, analytical and project management skills
- Experience working with agencies with a high degree of collaboration in a goal-driven environment
- Personable and flexible with demands and changes in extremely fast-moving business environment
- Must have a voracious appetite and passion for Beauty, digital marketing, brand management, paid Social, SEO, affiliate program and influencer partnership
- Solid analytical, verbal, organizational and written communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Strong powerpoint, excel, word skills and platforms (i.e. Shopify, Klayvio, Google Ads, Meta Ads, TikTok Ads, GA Dashboards, Refersion and etc…)
- Must live in the SF/Bay Area, CA with partial remote (2 days in San Francisco office and 3 days at home) and up to 10% travel
