Hours: 24 hours per week. Three 8 hour days preferred
Location: Cottage Grove, 100% onsite.
Position Overview
As a top-tier fitness company with a global presence, we're on the lookout for a passionate and talented Marketing Intern to join our North American marketing team. As directed by the Marketing Manager, the Marketing Intern plays a crucial role in our US marketing initiatives by performing a diverse range of marketing and communication tasks. This entry-level opportunity offers the chance to work alongside industry experts and gain invaluable experience.
Responsibilities
Marketing Communications (25%)
- Monitor social media and respond to inquiries on behalf of the brand when appropriate.
- Assist in planning, gathering, and publishing content for bi-monthly Connections newsletter.
- Assist in the management of CRM contacts & marketing lists under the direction of the Marketing Manager.
Marketing & Sales Support (30%)
- Project management of sales team and dealer network special projects as defined by Marketing Manager.
- Assist in the collection and cataloging of showcase installation images and testimonials.
- Assist with delivery of content marketing webinars to customers.
- Maintain and update banner and premiums program with third party vendor.
- Assist in management of user access to available marketing tools: Matrix Experience App, Box, and others as needed.
- Assist in managing the US Promo Item Portal contents.
Marketing – Trade Show Support (35%)
- Assist the Trade Show Coordinator with tasks related to the preparation of trade shows and events, including but not limited to: preparing support materials, gathering supplies, staging materials, hotel room block management, and badge registration.
Marginal Job Functions (10%)
- Other projects as assigned.
Requirements
Education:
- High School degree
- Graduated, or currently enrolled and attending courses to earn bachelor’s degree in marketing, marketing research, communications or related field required.
Experience
- 1-2 years of experience in marketing support functions preferred.
Other Requirements
- Microsoft Office Suite required
- Occasional domestic travel required
- Valid Driver’s License required
