SUMMARY:
Will work closely with barre3 Portland studio teams to plan, create, publish and share new content (including original text, images, video) on a daily basis that builds meaningful customer connections, increases brand awareness and encourages community members to engage with the brand. Will assist in creating in-studio collateral as needed. This position is part time, up to 20 hours per week. Candidates must reside in Portland metro area or SW Washington.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Manage barre3 Portland organic social media accounts + client outreach efforts
- Responsible for the creation and distribution of written and visual content on all organic social channels, including but not limited to: Instagram, TikTok, Facebook.
- Drive organic social-media growth strategy for barre3 Portland channels.
- Consistently identify growth opportunities on social media, integrate brand messaging into of-the-moment content trends, and help the brand and community continue to evolve and grow, guided by our Core Values.
- Manage and maintain consistent community engagement through partnerships, collaborations, and ambassador and influencer campaigns.
- Creating a monthly client facing newsletter with content direction from Studio teams and current campaign needs.
Maintain weekly and daily social reporting
- Work cross-functionally to align and optimize day-to-day content calendars between social media, the email newsletter, and barre3 corporate social-media accounts.
- Stay up to date on barre3’s social presence compared to fitness-industry benchmarks.
- Adhere to brand guidelines while being creative and testing different content types and messages to each channel.
Manage engagement and customer service on social media
- Effectively respond to comments and direct messages, engaging with current and potential clients.
- Work cross-functionally to align and help the brand’s mission, vision, and values come to life through engagement on social media.
- Effectively flag and report key customer-service issues through social media, and collaborate with Portland Operations Managers and Studio teams to execute resolution.
Play a key role as a creative support
- Responsible for consistently working with the Portland Operations Managers and Studio Teams and collaborating with teams across the company to ensure that communications through social media are effective, aligned, and on-brand.
- Maintain consistent community engagements through partnerships, collaborations, and features on social media, including ambassador and influencer campaigns; engage those partnerships outside of social media when needed.
- Attend monthly ASM meetings, and select events where content capture is required.
- Have presence in all 5 company owned studios to create content, highlight our diverse locations and team members.
- Support studios as needed by creating signage and in studio marketing collateral that adheres to brand standards
Requirements
- Experience with content creation on various platforms (i.e., Reels)
- In-depth knowledge of Social media for business accounts: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest, LinkedIn, TikTok, and WordPress
- Strong ability to create and report out analytics
- Experience in Canva or Adobe Creative Suite preferred, but not required.
- Customer-service experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Prior experience in social media, content, or related fields preferred.
- Two years experience or education sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
