Full Job Description
Overview: Develop and oversee marketing plans and communications for a non-profit international exchange program. The Marketing & Communications Specialist at Borderless Friends Forever (BFF) is responsible for managing and executing the digital & print marketing initiatives for our non-profit organization while maintaining strong client communications and contributing to some program administration.
This position requires an understanding of the world of international student exchanges and integrating that understanding with day-to-day aspects of marketing and communication, including but not limited to:
• Email Marketing
• Digital Advertising
• Web Maintenance
• Client Communication
• Program administrative assistance
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Create and implement effective marketing materials.
• Create a monthly newsletter for stakeholders.
• Create and disseminate training materials.
• Update and maintain website content.
• Build and maintain a social media presence.
• Update stakeholder manuals as needed.
• Manage monthly, semi-annual, and annual surveys.
• Manage day-to-day communications with multiple clients.
• Plan, build, and execute email and digital advertising campaigns.
• Initiate, plan, and facilitate recognition programs.
• Perform other administrative duties as needed.
The most successful applicants will have the following areas of knowledge or qualifications (*denotes required qualification):
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a closely related field*
• 1-3 years of marketing experience* (We may consider experience instead of a degree.)
• Ability to initiate new ideas
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task
• Strong attention to detail and quality of work
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work well with various types of personalities and work styles
• Excellent time management skills
• Proofreading ability
• Problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with the following apps: Canva, Constant Contact, WordPress, Monday
• Proficient in an all-Apple environment
Preference may be given to those with work experience with international populations & children and knowledge of exchange programs.
Salary
$40,000/yr
