Position Overview
Porsche AfterSales is a core profitability, customer satisfaction, loyalty, and dealer efficiency driver for Porsche Cars North America (PCNA) and its network of authorized dealer franchise partners. AfterSales is composed of three main verticals, Parts Business, Service Operations, and Technical Services. All of which support our dealer partner network of Porsche Centers conduct business with retail customers in the US market.
The Business Promotions Specialist will be responsible for coordinating the creation and execution of all AfterSales marketing activities, with direct creative development responsibility in some project execution. This includes Porsche Center facing campaigns, which will drive the AfterSales business. Lead and support the development and implementation of parts advertising, incentive, communications, and merchandising programs. This role shapes the marketing and incentive strategies which are key to driving parts sales, dealer service traffic, customer loyalty, and customer satisfaction to name a few.
- Align and coordinate with AfterSales Leadership to drive a collaborative full business approach to marketing and promotions within AfterSales. Ensure all business units specific strategic and operational focus is considered.
- Align AfterSales Objectives for all departments when developing marketing and promotions strategic direction.
- Integrate AfterSales marketing and promotional activities in the overarching PCNA strategic vision – Project One
Roles & Responsibilities
- Prepare, align and maintain annual AfterSales Marketing plan to support business objectives.
- Align and support procurement process to ensure programs are evergreen.
- Develop AfterSales promotional and advertising concepts for PCNA and retail Porsche Center network – i.e.: Service reminder program, genuine parts marketing.
- Coordinate all aspects of AfterSales Marketing activities with the Field organization, internal marketing and customer experience teams to ensure a consistent aligned strategic approach to AfterSales promotional efforts.
- Coordinate an integrated PCNA strategy related to all Operational elements between Marketing, Customer Commitment, Aftersales, Sales Operations, etc. to ensure all parties are informed, understand their roles and support needed for successful operations on a monthly basis
- Provide promotional and marketing expertise to other AfterSales constituents as needed.
- Develop a variety of promotional and support materials for both Dealer and PCNA AfterSales organization.
- Continuous improvement – Communicate each campaign plan, ongoing progress and final results/take aways for future initiatives.
- Ensure proper usage of Corporate Identity standards, product liability disclaimers and other print information in coordination with appropriate internal departments.
- Work together with PCNA Parts, Sales and Service field personnel to achieve maximum dealership participation in After Sales programs.
- Lead creative development and media buying activities for the Porsche AfterSales within internal PCNA marketing ecosystem.
- Management and coordination of AfterSales Communications – I.e.: Internal, Field, Porsche Center newsletter and Ad Hoc.
- Engage, secure feedback, and respond to Porsche Center inquiries in coordination with parts support team and other internal support colleagues.
- Interact with Porsche AG global team (VA) to maximize utilization of global sharing of best practices. Represent PCNA on AfterSales marketing initiatives and materials.
- Work closely with PCNA finance financial analysts to perform and manage against monthly and annual operating budget. Provide accurate and timely forecasts and financial project-based reports to the Sr. Manager, Parts Business.
- Implementing development activities to meet corporate objectives, ensuring commercial and operational guidelines are always adhered to.
- Ensure proper retention of electronic documents, business confidential information, and actively demonstrates an understanding of the need to safeguard competitive information in both electronic and non-electronic formats. Maintain compliance.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and assess how to manage the communication flow accordingly.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Business
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years marketing, advertising, or communications experience (automotive OEM preferred) (Passion brand experience a plus)
- Creative development experience preferred.
- Ad agency experience preferred (client or agency side)
- Strong knowledge of creative development, social media planning/strategy (organic and paid), production and media planning related to print, digital, social and collateral programs
- Automotive OEM Marketing experience preferred (client or agency side)
