Position Responsibilities:
- Work in conjunction with Brand Director to create, and develop cohesive creative messaging for internal and external campaigns.
- Help to build meaningful advertising campaigns informed through data, current trends, and interviews with clinical stakeholders.
- Brainstorm and design print, digital, and other media assets for all major service line campaigns that deliver clear, impactful messaging and imagery while adhering to brand guidelines.
- Have the ability to design a variety of collateral pieces including service line flyers, brochures, internal announcements and other. Provide feedback and/or recommendations for improvement.
- Create newsletter templates for a variety of recurring communications, with designs informed by user interactions, best practices and real time metrics of engagement; have the ability to update website text and graphics as needed
- Help to oversee and provide direction on paid social to ensure brand image and messaging are in line with the medical centers wider advertising efforts.
- Manage and update brand book and brand assets.
- Provide reporting and summary of all active advertising campaigns, inclusive of assets and media schedules on a quarterly basis.
- Manage our reputation management initiative, in conjunction with marketing leadership, with the goal of increasing patient reviews, andour digital footprint.
- Work in conjunction with VP of Marketing of Communications and other department leadership to build, execute and monitor paid advertising efforts with the goal of driving patient appointments.
- Ensure that pieces are created in an accurate and timely manner for service lines, programs and physicians.
- Participate in brainstorming, strategy planning and execution for marketing initiatives including digital marketing, print campaigns, special projects etc.
- Ensure compliance with law (e.g. HIPPA, copyright and data protection).
- Stay abreast of hospital news, trends, services, and objectives and provide updates of relevant storylines and competition.
- Attend and participate in hospital events and/or department and committee meetings when needed.
- Handle administrative tasks when needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising or relevant field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in advertising, design and/or media buying.
- Advanced technical knowledge of InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, Microsoft Office and other relevant design tools.
- Flawless design skills and a fantastic eye.
- Experience designing creative assets for a variety of outlets (print, digital, TV).
- Experience with Google Analytics and Mailchimp, in addition to basic knowledge of WordPress and HTML.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize multiple projects, with assignments from both superiors and internal departments.
- Exhibits excellent organizational and project management expertise, attentiveness to detail, and the ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks according to goals.
- Ability to communicate with physicians, administrators, and clinicians and exhibit sensitivity to politics among departments, organizations, and partners.
- Strong work ethic and ability to proactively lead projects and see them through to completion.
- Experience working in healthcare a plus.
