General
The Role / Position Overview
- Work with the advertising sales team and in-house design teams to create and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns to support our B2B advertising business.
- Manage allocated budgets, delivering campaigns within agreed timescales and expenditure limits.
- Work closely with Brand design, ensuring all marketing outputs are within guidelines.
Campaigns
- Work with CRM Marketing Manager to deliver marketing communications, reporting and optimising accordingly.
- Work with the CM Activations team and CSI to define research Send regular, engaging, and value-adding communications to clients and prospects. This will include contributing stories to the quarterly industry newsletters and any one-off client communications that may be required.
Website
- Lead on business-as-usual updates to our website and ensure new products and services are represented.
Industry Intelligence
- Own marketing competitor market research, ensuring the Commercial floor is armed with market intelligence.
Performance
- Own and oversee KPI tracking for the team, across all channels - presenting recommendations for optimisation - both budget and channels.
Sales Materials
- Lead on the creation of all pre-sales materials for the global commercial team. These will include both credentials decks explaining the FT’s commercial offering as-a-whole and product- and service-specific decks.
- Oversee the production of case studies - ensuring our advertiser-facing platforms are up-to-date with our latest work and performance.

Qualifications / Competencies / Skills / Experience
- Proven track record in a commercially-focused marketing role
- A pro-active outlook and ability to take the initiative.
- Ability to “make a difference” by gaining buy-in from key stakeholders.
- Meticulous eye for detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, ensuring all deadlines are met and standards are maintained.
- Self starter with high energy and initiative
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Desirable
- Exposure to and knowledge of media / publishing / advertising.
- Experience of using Salesforce, or equivalent CRM systems to manage data.
- Experience of using Pardot, or equivalent email system to manage email campaigns.
