Cadence Living is hiring creative, energetic, and compassionate Resident Lifestyle Assistants (Activity Coordinators) in our vibrant Senior Living community Nikkei Senior Gardens. The Activity Coordinators assist the Resident Lifestyle Director in designing, creating, initiating, facilitating, and coordinating a wide variety of activities for our senior residents in the Assisted Living & Memory Care neighborhoods of the community. What will you do as a Revere Lifestyle Coordinator?
- Engage residents one-on-one, as well as in small, and large group settings
- Facilitate games, conversations, exercise classes, art and music, trips, and special events
- Support the coordination of the Revere monthly calendar and newsletter.
- Lead assigned activities.
- Communicate with families on resident participation utilizing the Caremerge portal.
- Assist Resident Lifestyle Director and Memory Care Director as necessary.
- Contribute to team training and collaboration on resident engagement.
If You Have These Qualifications, We'd Love To Chat
- Positive team player attitude and love working with people!
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Practice making group reservations, and checking venue layout, and activities in general.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to work independently and follow scheduled plans.
- Previous experience with Memory Care is a plus
- Maintain composure in stressful situations.
- Previous experience working in Independent Living (IL), Assisted Living (AL), Memory Care (MC), or Senior Living experience is strongly preferred!
