WILDSAM is an American travel brand reimagining the boundaries of travel. We tell true stories of place—to unearth the real, the rooted, the unvarnished, and the authentic. Through our online platform and collection of pocket-sized field guides, we go beyond typical travel information, instead revealing a deep sense of place through archival heritage, local commentary, cultural landmarks and inspired writing. Wildsam stokes curiosity and opens pathways to the deep connections and mysteries of a place for all.
As Deputy Editor for Wildsam, you’ll take a leading creative and organizational role in crafting and delivering a monthly print magazine that speaks to our core missions of discovering place, illuminating culture and providing readers moments of joy, insight and wonder. After ten years building a distinctive and admired content portfolio – “the new age of guidebooks,” as Outside Magazine described, and “the next great American travel brand,” as Texas Monthly wrote – Wildsam, now a part of the Camping World family of brands, is poised for an exciting plan of expansion.
