Objective:
KR8 is looking for a dynamic PR and marketing manager to build and promote amazing brands as well as lead and build a team of amazing creatives and thinkers. In this role you will be optimizing our marketing strategies, managing the marketing department's budget and staff, as well as preparing forecasts. Implement divisional strategy of overall marketing impact, multicultural and cross-brand priority initiatives. Complete program marketing campaigns in support of all brand objectives and agency services. Coordinate cross-functional teams across publicity, social media, and digital marketing (earned, owned, paid) to set goals, plans and market timing. Primary liaison with creative teams to ensure a timely and effective in-market and media outlet distribution of creative assets in partnership with the brand creative teams. Deliver and brief media agencies to guide the media planning process and support alignment of teams. Lead campaigns and initiatives from development to launch to ensure detailed execution. This role is a seasoned marketer with a proven track record of driving experiences that garner press, increase brand awareness + revenue, foster strong community relations, improve loyalty, and acquire new supporters. Armed with a POV, they are influential, creative, intellectually curious, resourceful, and execution-obsessed. They work both autonomously and collaboratively and possess a management style that emphasizes transparency, collaboration, communication, and commitment on all levels.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the 360 brand marketing strategy and go-to market vision, creating concise briefs for the team to activate against, and delivering clear direction, rich storytelling and sharp product positioning
- Oversee campaign development + execution, marketing calendar, email + SMS marketing, influencer marketing, social media, and PR.
- Set campaign KPIs, track performance, and lead analysis of findings. Share learnings across the organization to inform future initiatives, optimize campaigns, and creative best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across creative, social media, and product development Guide, develop, and support a team of direct reports who are collectively responsible for brand marketing + partnerships, copywriting, and community building.
- Craft innovative/advantageous partnerships with social media influencers/content creators who can drive orders, spread positive word of mouth, and increase overall brand reach
- Draft campaign project briefs, creative briefs, and influencer contracts
- Support management of influencers to ensure all products are shipped, deliverables are met, content is delivered, ensure campaign and messaging are executed correctly and on time, and optimize strategy when necessary
- Strategize with the Director of Marketing and the marketing team to ensure partnerships are driving results
- Recommend new influencers that meet brand goals
- Conduct market research to stay up to date with best practices and emerging trends
- Deep understanding of owned media strategies and deployments including website and newsletter/sms objectives and best practices
- A deep understanding of digital marketing strategies and best use case in building 360 brand activations and results
- Knowledge of e-commerce and digital platforms such as Shopify, Klaviyo, meta business manager, sprout, etc
- Deep understanding of fashion and trends as well as industry technologies such as fashion GPS, Influncer intelligence, rocket reach, etc
- Knowledge of pop culture and the celebrity fashion world and key stylists which whom they work with
- Other duties as assigned
- Create recap presentations of campaigns and initiatives
- Facilitate monthly client reporting and prepare consumer competitive research reports and analysis
- Be positive and willing to jump in on all kinds of projects, sometimes outside of normal day-to-day work
- Acts as point of contact for all assigned brands and contacts
- Hands-on with end-to-end execution
- collaborate with staff, other administrators, internal and external contacts, and senior management
- Develop marketing collateral, in partnership with the design team and in-house brand team, to deliver on communications.
- Analyze quantitative data, including sales transactions, customer acquisition and customer retention, to identify key consumer and market insights, areas for improvement
- Drive accountability in the marketing department to stay on key initiative timelines and track performance against the metrics & goals
- Ability to deliver quality written materials including marketing plans, PR strategies, press releases and more with minimal grammar and structure edits.
- Ability to properly edit quality written materials according to AP standards.
- Conduct strategic media relations, targeting key journalists and influencers across multiple industries.
- Maintain a clear understanding of client offerings, related technologies and their competitive set.
- Ability to mentor and foster growth of junior staff.
- Support senior management when needed with new business activities, including brainstorm sessions, competitive research and development of strategies.
- The ability to be a teacher and mentor to staff
- Must possess a deep understanding of client offerings, technologies and the competitive landscape.
- Responsible for checking that all client documents and folders in client folders on the drive are organized in the KR8 way
- Finalize all End of Week and End of Month reports for all account teams, before sending to agency owners for final sign off
- Lead client brainstorm sessions to generate new pitch angles.
- Share regular industry statistics and insights to help spark new pitch angles and ideas for clients.

Qualifications:
- Proven ability to properly and effectively activate and execute any and all project scopes
- Understanding of the marketing program as a whole, with confidence to speak into improvements in efficiencies and workflow
- Must have experience in fashion e-commerce and DTC/D2C sales channels such as shopify, Woo Commerce etc with a proven track record of driving sales and revenue
- Associates or Bachelor's degree in Communications, Business, Management, Marketing, or a related field preferred
