Cohabs is the most Community and Member Driven Coliving company in the world. Our houses are gorgeous and super vibrant, but it's the focus on our members and our community programming that sets us apart from every other competitor.
We are currently in 6 cities and looking to launch 5 more in the next few years, a few of those hopefully located in the U.S.
Our Community Manager is the gatekeeper to our entire member journey. With 22 houses in New York and counting, the growth potential for this role is enormous. We'll go from 90 open beds to over 250 before the new year.
The Community Manager will report directly to the New York - City Manager and will be responsible for our full leasing funnel, community programming (2-3 events executed per month) and all internal member relations.
Mission:
- Promote and Foster an inclusive spirit within every single one of our houses.
- Manage all leasing and room occupancy - conduct 15 minute calls with every prospective Cohabs New York member.
- Analyze lead traffic and financial/physical occupancy rates.
- Constantly check competitors rents and occupancy levels and remain an expert on all other Coliving offerings in New York.
- Challenge our product every day and push new ideas and initiatives for improvement.
- Maintain a member NPS above 70% and a CSAT score above 85% for the entire active portfolio.
- Develop a dynamic lineup of events for the Community that are aligned with the company values - schedule and then run all events (Will require working some weekends, nights and holidays).
- Analyze and relay community feedback to relevant internal stakeholders.
- Help the community to share knowledge and resources effectively. Always act as a facilitator.
- Act as the face and voice of our community and manage all channels of communications including resolution for internal member disputes.
- Drive organic lead generation from B to B partnerships and create robust partnership offerings for our members to enjoy around the city.
- Liaise with all of our international teams to share ideas and implement new strategies to improve our community offering - learn from your colleagues successes and mistakes.
Your Profile:
- You have 3-5 years of previous experience in leasing, community management and or event planning.
- You thrive in an autonomous environment.
- You are cool and do not take yourself too seriously. We like to make fun of ourselves and each other every day!
- Analytical approach and problem-solving attitude. You can easily understand complex matters and come up with innovative and strong solutions.
- Experience in launching community initiatives (e.g. building an online forum, launching an ambassador program, creating an event series and writing an email newsletter)
- 'People person’ with great customer service skills and the ability to moderate online and offline conversations with our community.
- Ability to identify and track relevant community metrics (e.g. repeat attendance at events)
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills and able to develop engaging content.
- Fluency in a 2nd or 3rd language is a plus!
- Entrepreneurial mindset, you are a self-starter and eager to deliver the best results possible.
