Description
IEA is seeking a Marketing Coordinator to join our team in Fort Worth. The Marketing Coordinator will report to the Marketing Manager and work within a team of Marketing and Engineering staff to complete proposals, graphics, and interview preparations within set deadlines.
The ideal candidate would be professional and have great organizational and interpersonal communication skills, with prior office experience a plus. Computer skills would include Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop, Internet, and Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Job Requirements
- Ability to plan, organize, and direct marketing strategies for proposals and clients
- Experience responding to RFQs, RFPs, and developing/facilitating presentations, specifically for TxDOT
- Proven history of offering strategy and direction for successful pursuits
- Track upcoming TxDOT proposals and associated informational meetings
- Coordinate and lead pursuit-specific planning, brainstorming, and review meetings
- Coordinate with project managers, internal staff, and subconsultants to set meetings, answer questions about assignments, and ensure reviewer feedback is incorporated into proposal drafts
- Create and format TxDOT submittals with Adobe InDesign software
- Lead data calls (exchange of qualification information) to and from clients in the AEC industry
- Review of proposal forms for correctness/completeness (e.g. TxDOT, municipal, aviation)
- Review materials prepared by other Marketing Coordinators/Assistants and ensure responsive, compliant, and quality submittals
- Prepare presentations and collateral leave behind material and coach presentation teams
- Demonstrated experience managing a team and ability to lead and influence excellent performance
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Assist with grammar reviews and copyediting
- Attend industry events on behalf of IEA, as needed
- Other marketing support, including other client proposals, graphics creation, IEA’s corporate newsletter, and social media content, as needed
- Energetic, self-starter, multi-tasker, organized, and detail-oriented
- Possess a sense of urgency to meet deadlines and work well under pressure
- Ability to collaborate successfully with diverse personalities
- Travel may be required, but minimal

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree (BA or BS) in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business, English, or similar degree
- Minimum of 2 years of related experience in the Architectural, Construction, Engineering (AEC) industry, preferably heavy civil transportation, water/wastewater, or construction management services, is preferred
- Experience working on TxDOT proposals is preferred
