Beachwood Brewing is looking to hire a self-motivated, creative-minded, social-media enthusiast, Marketing Communications Manager. To fill this dynamic marketing position, we are seeking a qualified, beer loving, creative candidate. You'll be working closely with multiple departments and managers, balancing competing projects and deadlines.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop social media strategy and content needed to execute across social platforms
- Drive communication and deliver high-quality, on-brand content through social channels
- Collaborate with Marketing Director to create and execute social media launch plans for campaigns, events, beer and merchandise releases, and other brand initiatives
- Write creative and engaging copy that aligns with our brand persona
- Monitor social media channels and engage with audience
- Identify online communities and participate in conversations and discussions (in relevant Facebook Groups, forums, etc.)
- Ensure that all social media, marketing and PR content complies with ABC rules
- Capture on-brand photo and video collateral to be used across social media channels and online platforms. This includes photos of modeled merchandise, packaged beer products, and beer in glassware, etc.
- Ensure brand is always competitive by auditing our social media performance on a monthly basis and benchmarking against inspiring industry leaders
- Track social media/digital marketing trends, new tools, developments, best practices and identify high-performing ideas to test and implement into our brand
- Brand Ambassador at Beachwood in-house and offsite events (plus content capture for social media use)
- Manage and optimize newsletter communications
- Lead website content management of adding events, and posting new products for purchase that includes beer releases, merchandise
- Create brand marketing informational materials for specialty brands
- Perform other marketing communications-related tasks as needed (i.e. PR)
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Must live close to Beachwood Offices in Huntington Beach, California
- Minimum two years of professional social media experience
- Must own a vehicle to travel to Beachwood’s multiple locations to capture content
- Availability to work nights and weekends for Beachwood events, sponsorships and beer festivals
- Working knowledge of shooting quality photo and video content of food and beverage, consumer product, and people
- Proficient knowledge of Canva, Lightroom, InDesign, and other design editing apps
- Other applications able to work with include Dropbox, Google Drive, Notion, Later,
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills with fine attention to detail
- Ability to interact with staff for social media needs
- Able to develop a genuine passion for our brand, products, and awareness of happenings/news/trends in the beer industry
- Ability to multi-task various projects and deadlines
- Self-starter with the proven ability to work independently and adapt in a fast-paced growing environment
