Position Overview:
As an Email Designer, you'll plunge into a spectrum of creative endeavors, catering to our agency’s portfolio of clients, including DTC brands / eCommerce, higher education, and B2B. You'll also be an integral creative force for our email campaign management team, working alongside our Lifecycle Director. You’ll report to the Senior Creative Director while also supporting on digital advertising, landing page designs, and expansive print projects.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Create elevated email designs and copy for a variety of well-known brands, based on our clients’ provided imagery.
- Create compelling copy that is integrated into email designs based on product descriptions.
- Masterfully executed email graphic designs, animations, and video edits while respecting internal timelines and consistency.
- Support email A/B testing, email optimization, and mobile design optimizations for creative elements.
- Provide email campaign management team with delegated graphic design and copywriting work.
- Streamline client communication with various teams to guarantee client success.
- Partner with Mason Interactive's marketing team to fulfill internal creative needs as needed.

- Contribute to designing client presentations and pitches as needed.
- Innovate alongside the Senior Creative Director and the Creative Team, dabbling in audience persona sketches, journey mapping, storyboarding, copywriting, and more
Position Essentials:
- Able to work independently.
- Able to design within different brand guidelines and styles/genres.
- Ability to work within different brands’ voices or guidelines.
- Knowledge of email optimization best practices.
- knowledge of mobile design best practices.
- Highly proficient in Adobe Photoshop.
- Possess 1-2 years of creative development exposure.
- Exemplary writing prowess for producing engaging email content.
- Stellar communication and project management abilities.
- Acquaintance with platforms like Klaviyo, Mailchimp, and Unbounce.
- A curiosity to learn about new emerging creative technologies, including AI.
- Reside within a convenient commuting range of our Charlotte office.
- Hold an associate's or bachelor's in Design, Art, Communications, or a relevant field.
Additional Attributes:
- Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite
- Basic knowledge of HTML is helpful but not necessary.
- Familiarity with motion graphics and light animation.
- Some grounding in social media content and ad design.
- A flair for branding and working within brand guidelines.
Sample projects to provide for consideration:
- Provide a portfolio of work showing the ability to work within different brands’ voices or guidelines.
- Email newsletter mock-ups.
Compensation & Perks:
- A hybrid work model: At least two days per week working in our office. However, new hires may have more of an office presence during the initial 90 days to ensure optimal role adaptation.
