Role Description
This is a remote contract role for a Photoshop expert and Graphic Designer. The successful candidate will work with the project curator to translate exhibit designs for a sponsor booth into Photoshop renderings. The assignment will also include the layout of a webpage, newsletter, and catalog assets for the sponsor, as well as the creation of artwork sell sheets and art labels with QR codes for exhibit display. Additionally, the chosen candidate will work with the curator to ensure that each design follows the sponsor and property branding guidelines and is visually appealing.
The assignment will begin in October of 2023 and continue through February of 2024. There is a flat fee for the work, and we may request that you assist in installing the exhibit in Los Angeles on February 13, 2024.
The candidate will ideally reside in LA or the region and will work with the curator remotely, as the curator is located in Dallas. Work will be conducted during CST working hours.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
- Experience working with a wide range of design mediums, including print, web, and video
- Demonstrated ability to create visually appealing designs in alignment with brand guidelines
- Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work within tight deadlines
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or a related field
- Five or more years of experience in graphic design or a related field
