This position is Hybrid/on-site/and includes some field work. (Bartow, FL)
Job Goal: Increase awareness of the Healthy Start Coalition's mission to promote and support healthy pregnancies, babies, and families by providing a maternal and child health system of care through community partnerships, ultimately improving birth outcomes for women and infants.
DUTIES INCLUDE
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data looking for patterns and trends in the analyzed data.
- Generate and submit reports in a timely and professional manner.
- Works with the FIMR Data Abstractors team to collect FIMR Documents from providers for Case Review Team Meetings.
- Acquires data from primary or secondary data sources and will maintain databases to create FIMR goals and needs.
- Develops charts, graphs, infographics, dashboards, and other methods to visualize data.
- Create visual presentations and written reports based on recommendations and findings.
- Attends the Fetal and Infant Mortality Review committees, Community Review Teams, and Community Action Groups meetings and events.
- Develop community campaigns and outreach education strategies in collaboration with the Coalition and Community Action Groups.
- Develop and produce an annual newsletter with a focus on the FIMR data and Maternal and Child health statistics.
- Routine use of the NCFRP, Well Family System, Florida Charts, Healthy Start, and Census systems to utilize, review data, pull reports, and track Healthy Start services, Maternal and Child Health Indicators, FIMR data.
- Perform other incidental tasks or services consistent with the job goal of this position, assist with other duties as assigned.
Desired Qualifications
- Associate Degree (BA or BS preferred) with knowledge in Statistics, Mathematics, Epidemiology, Health Informatics or other quantitative field and knowledge in Public Health issues, maternal and child health.
- Strong analytical and research skills.
- Knowledge of maternal, child, and public health.
- Extensive knowledge of and a passion for numbers, and statistics.
- Familiar with multivariate analysis and summaries.
- Ability to use critical thinking skills to find solutions to challenges presented by the data.
- Ability to work flexible hours and ability to handle various tasks simultaneously.
- Basic analytical skills necessary to maintain accuracy with alphabetic and/or numeric typing and filing systems.
- Knowledge of and experience with computer hardware/software including, Microsoft Office software, ARCGIS, SMSS, SQL, Excel, SPSS, SAS, SharePoint, and Internet.
- Ability to effectively utilize all standard office equipment.
- Responsible, enthusiastic, and energetic individual capable of working independently as well as within a team structure either in the local office or in the field.

- Experience working collaboratively with child and family-serving organizations, schools, health care providers and other community agencies.
